i like this version too, but kuzunoha isn't the best option against dante, first i think maybe im wrong i cant remeber, the first game is in the taisho era, am i right? then his die in the time of nocturne, also, this is tokyo, not capitol city, and demifiend is a demon, at least dante can work with him, but kuzunoha has to put him in a tiny tube

@Klyern i believe its a reference to the Devil summoners that Raidou's in. he shoots his gun three times per button press in that game.

I always thought they added Dante to this just to get people to buy it.

Do you know if Raidou is at least more useful then Dante was? (as when you get him youve got demons far more useful so Dante was only good if you wanted the novelty of it.)

He was put in because the makers of Nocturne needed some sort of badass demonic opponent at the time and Raidou wasn't really all that well-known at the time. ...And the Nocturne makers were fans of DMC.. >_>; Go figure...

They made a deal with Capcom so that they could use Dante and one of the game developers who helped out with the deal agreed to help make some of the techniques in DMC3.

Depends on how you look at it, Raidou's from a different time than DAnte, who's closer to this timeframe. Though I agree it is awesome to see Raidou here.

Maybe from a different time, but time travel is very possible in KR, and KR is from the same overall game world, the Megaten world, so yeah, no matter how you look at it Raidou fits better.

actually Raidou timeFrame can be the same timeframe as this time since it's possible that the town Raidou live in is one of those old fasion towns that hardly anyone knows about now.

Considering that Raidou is embedded in the Shin Megami Tensei universe, I'll agree. However, I felt that Dante's presence in the game was appropriate - considering his backstory and how he ended up in the game.

Either way, it's win-win.

@SartoriusSeven I wouldn't say that. Dante is a devil/demon hunter. He fits right in. Both Raidou and Dante are badass, though Raidou having a similar style to the MC makes him seem a bit cooler
