Never heard of this brand but I am glad that you also review other lesser known brands besides the popular ones...this is the first Android based phone that I have seen with a resistive screen - usually Android phones come with a capacitive screen....

I hate using a stylus, yet resistive screens can still work.  I've been using the DSTL w/o the stylus with no problem, except for the screen calibration utility when I first started it.

No. Unresponsive resistive = fail. They CAN be responsive and do not necessarily require styluses (depens purely on the UI), in which case you're basically sacrificing some sensitivity and durability for being able to use something besides skin (styluses do ocasionally come in handy). They'll probably never match capactive but they don't fail either.

Capacitive screens are fail in cold climates, forcing users to take their gloveds of to use a phone in freezing weather is not a plus. Also some dialects force users to switch to a stylus thus capacitive is also not ideal.

my env touch is the same way. i dont like how you have to use your entire finger on the iphone or ipod touch. i like just being able to use my nails. it makes it alot easier to type on the touch screen.

So far, the resistive display has been working just fine for me. I wish it was HVGA res instead of WQVGA, but otherwise it's good enough.
