@marionaitor56 rattling isnt really the problem i have 2 ds's the one i got for christmas rattles but it stll works fine and the one that doesnt work is from ymcausin because his was in better condition then mine but it doesnt turn on even if i put my own DS battery pack from my own DS in it. most DS lites rattle in the same way

What's the point of this video with no guide of how to repair it or what the diagnosis is?

If your NDS or NDSL wont turn on and if the orange light flashes once when you put the charger in, then you've blown either fuses F1, F2 or both.

This is an easy DIY repair. I did it with my standard soldering iron. Think about it, your console is already broken, have a go yourself as you've nothing to lose. Check YouTube for 'NDSL Fuses Repair' and just put a blob of solder over the entire fuse.

just change the battery. if that deosnt work send it to a professional if ur not a geek like me. if u r a geek id changed the fuses and other parts myself

theres a video to repair it cus its far cheaper then spending 50 dollers reapairing but the problem is the two fuses broke so find out where they are and solder them and if your still confised the video is called Nintendo DS + DS Lite Fuse repair

well, here's my story: i let in a huge plastic bag in the carrier and outside was raining like HELL! eventually i brought my ds in the house and let in that bag @ 5 days along with my stuff inside it! I started wondering where's my DS and i remembered that i left it inside that bag and when i took it from that bag it water started to pour from inside it - battery: fried! mainboard: short-circuited (fuses)

just take out your battery for a minuit to let it cool down and clear away any dust then put it back in and it will work

its advertising console doctor they fix thiks problem for £40 lol i was lookin it up cus i found a ds and tryin to get it workin

if you have any basic soldering skills you can fix this yourself for les than a couple bucks (assuming you already hav a soldering iron and solder)

all you need to do is buy the screwdrivers needed to open your ds, then solder a small (i mean extremely small) copper wire on one or two of the fuses. it will work like new, happend when i bricked my ds lite
