Hes shifting early from 1-3 to keep traction up and not using full on slicks. Needs to switch to 16x9 slicks with simple tension rods and you'll see a vast improvement on the times. Sick Z, and its true I run 11's on a 3800 pound ZX with only under 500whp so dont bash the power, bash the setup, and this car is magnificently build. Time to get a 370Z tho for me!!

drag racing is just gearing, weight , driver and power combo , ... 3300lbs car with gearing for top speep pull not drag racing , put some 4.10 + gear in the back like mustang and you''ll see magic here , many 400whp Z run low 11 ,

He had to be spinning or doesn't make 650. You don't see any 60ft, 330ft, or 1/8th times listed. My z bearly makes 500whp right now and i ran a 11.8 @ 122 spinning through 3rd. That 132 mph is well in the 10's. Like bad2dabone99 said, these cars are set up for the street. You could easily set it up for the track, but why? its a street car. leave the guys alone.

to hit 9 seconds you need upwards of 800rwhp

check any of the supras that are running less then 700 and none of them are near 9 seocnds. you are rtarded.

Bushur has a 598whp 35r evo running 112oct w/ STREETIRE, that ran 10.1@143mph.

on 94oct w/ streetires it ran a 10.5@139mph

STM has/had a FACTORY LONGblock evo...... just over 650awhp, 10.1@138mph

English Racing has a stock TURBO evo8 that makes 522awhp and runs mid 10's on the stock turbo...

you do NOT need 900hp to hit 9's...... thats as un-efficient as it gets.......

VRT and Injected are major built, non streetcars.. I dont even think they are STREETABLE.

If you're referring to AMS' or John Sheppards then any 9 second Z you find on here is just as streetable. Full interior with a cage.
