For anyone that has this game. Is it like Guild wars where your in different plains when leave cities and stuff, or like WoW where you are all in one plain?
Having played the beta...checked out CO...AND CoH/V...DC Universe Online makes every single other MMO...just another MMO. DC Universe Online is the MMO I've been waiting on. It's actually fun and enjoyable. The action, the powers, the beautiful and open landscapes--it puts everything else to shame. Yes, even your beloved WoW (which I've played).
I hope this game does well at launch. I'm excited for it ( it's the DC universe after all) just don't want it to be a bust in the beginning. Although there's like a lot of room for huge updates and expansion with DC as a source, so that will be something to look forward to.
Why would you need a jetpack? However yes I would say you can put something on that looks like a jetpack but its the fact that you choose the flight ability that makes your movement through the air possible. just like they have wings a attachment, and just like they have no winged flight, im assuming a jetpack is possible but you have to still pick flight or else its just a back ornament.
ppl i get annoyed when people say CO is better it hasn't even been released yet so make your statement when it has been released and not when its still in the making...k?
u pick your skills . or mutant ability .. the video , showded him beating doomsday with guns.. i hope they make you fight him 2wice.. you cant kill him same way 2wice.
Jesus, does EVERY character in this game have super strength? I'm eager to see more of this game, but they better make gameplay just as viable for people who DON'T want to be like Superman.
@9dragonsguy Well, in all fairness, they have mentions about 4 or five types, but have only explained thoroughly about 3 of them. But there could be more I'm sure. lol. Chances are if a DC character has a unique way of travel, it may show up in the game.
@turtleshell56 well the producers have actually stated that there are only going to be flight, acrobatics, and superspeed... BUT they said at LAUNCH and that they plan to add more once the game takes off
@9dragonsguy As I said, they have explained thoroughly and verified the three, and have also listed teleportation, phasing, as possibilities. They are being so secretive. xD

um.... The game is in alpha testing, after that it goes into beta testing. Sorry to dissapoint you but it's going to be awhile till it comes out.

the super strength is an atrribute you get to pick when you make your charcater along with other skills but you don't have to pick it

ok there are MORE travel powers in CO but this is a little better cause first any travel power lets u get anywhere
second this game has a different feel to it
PS: CO gets kinda boring after a while
