Not only that but in the Real World...the Source sent more electricity and energy through him than any body could take, Neo is still very human in RL. Plus look at it from a story perspective, Trinity died so that Neo could fully sacrifice himself in that manner and couldn't have done so otherwise.

He is weaker than the other agents. His "copy" program is what makes in more dangerous than the upgraded agents. As for in Revolutions, Smith copied himself into the oracle. He gains great power when he does this. Not just foresight, but also the power of the one. If Neo would have killed the one Smith he fought, the others were just as powerful....so he would have died regardless

Can't say I really liked Reloaded or Revolutions. I thought the ending to the first one was satisfyingly dissatisfying (It resolved what needed to resolve, without seeming like a happy Disney-ish ending). The second and third movies were just sort of excuses for violence and effects, which I can only tolerate if they serve an important purpose. Random violence makes me sick.
