☑Nationwide oil shortages

☑Allowed the Soviets to invade Afghanistan and the boycotted the 1980 Olympics

☑Turned Iran from an ally in to an enemy.

☑Failed to rescue the 52 U.S. diplomat hostages in Iran, which were held captive for 444 days. They weren't freed until Reagan was sworn into office.

Obama's economic and energy policies, as well as his far left political views, are identical to Carter. Thus, it's reasonable to deduce that he will be a lot like Carter.

A 3rd term for Bush is better than a 2nd term for Carter.

just look at their voting records. There is NO candidate today who is truly an ethical poiltician, as our system is too deeply entrenched in the power and influence of the corporate interests that influence our entire government. DO YOUR HOMEWORK: study these people's voting records and you will see that they are essentially GOP-Lite.. they just smile while they betray all of us with lovely, empty words.

BTW, I have utter respect for Jimmy Carter, he is a man of profound principle and, as far as I am concerned, the only REAL president the US has ever had. I of course do not agree with his endorsement of Obama yet it's utterly clear to me that he chose Obama as the least awful of many --awful choices.--
