Good video. However, you should consider your re-use of the same shot in the same sequence. An example is all the times that a girl in blue flip-flops steps on a dime. Also, the scene with the guy rolling ontop of those dimes was slightly distrurbing.

Yes, do everything by the boring news media handbook. Music videos should be shot to look like a news cast about a church event. You have a very good point. I mean you shouldn't have close-ups because dimes aren't small. They're fucking huge and need very wide establishing shots. And choruses shouldn't have repeated imagery associated with them because choruses in songs never repeat themselves, they're completely different. You, sir, are a cinematography genius!

You could show a wide of you dropping the dime to a tight of hitting the floor then rolling. But honestly, when gays get butthurt about being called gay, which they are, it makes everyone who's gay look bad.
Jesus, it's just a word. Just chill the fuck down and listen to the music. One of Cake's most underrated songs, and certainly one of their best.
