I appreciate the message he was trying to send but did Sid Davis have to use such HORRIBLE "music"? I love electronica and techno music but this dude banging away on his home keyboard was just so very BAD!
None of the cars have the damage they claim they suffered.The Chevy II has no front end damage,but it was crashed by a PO'd boyfriend who squealed the tires thanks to its 6-cylinder engine? No research into these cars was done at all obviously.
I don't think I've ever seen such a conceptual film from Sid Davis. The proto-industrial soundtrack was probably the most costly thing in the production.
Whoa, incredible music! Sounds like Louis & Bebe Barron, who did the Forbidden Planet soundtrack.

They should have called it "Curse of the Junkyard" - parts of wrecked cars getting put into cars that get into more wrecks - ooo spooky!

well, it's obviously just random footage of a junkyard from what looks like the mid '70s with some lame dialog and stock audio drop-ins
jnoble12 3 years ago
@jnoble12 - I agree...not one of Sid Davis's better films, IMO.

@hpspeedster this is obviously just a scare tactic
