I am scared to get in a car crash not just for the injuries alone, but the fact that people just stare at you and go away. Then again, when I got into a minor fender bender a few years ago a man came running over to ensure everyone was alright. So there are good people out there, but these videos prove the heavy majority just walk away.

@EpicOwnage1212 i agree entirely, and while the entire incident itself was unhumerous it couldnt have been a worse car to be involved. modern car designs have features to improve pedestrian safety. The car involved here looked very very unsafe for pedestrians. I wasnt laughing in humour, it was more a response to just how bad luck it was, it couldnt have been a worse car to be involved in the incident

This is how humans really are at these situations: Whoever cares ==> Take Responsibility==> Take Action. People don't want to take the responsibility so they don't do anything, but they do care in this situation..... It's all about having the guts to humble yourself out and help out a hurt stranger.

i've read the comments and it's amazing how many people jump to conclusion that these people are 'cowards' or 'inconsiderate'. there are so many explanations possible here.

they went to get help. they went to a police station near by. they knew nothing about caring for victims and didn't want to get in the way. they thought there was already enough help at the scene and didn't want create a larger crowd, just to name a few.

two facts: 1) only those people know why they didn't stay. 2) you don't

It seems like that's everyone's first reaction in these videos. I'd be running over there to help them and call the paramedics! I recently witnessed a very bad accident in my rear-view mirror. A Chevy Cavalier ran into the back of a box truck, totally smashing the windshield and roof of the Chevy. The impact was so loud, I thought someone hit ME. But then several people got out of their cars and pulled out a few little kids from the car. Not sure what the outcome was for the driver...
