  • Thanks for the music ..Nick co-wrote "tears dry on their own. Amy winehouse..you can hear Aint no mountain high trade marl nick sound it her song..amazeing RIP Amy and Nick

  • Thanks for the music ..

  • One of the best shows I ever witnessed.....This was a memorable night. RIP Mr Ashford and thanks for all your music.

  • R.I.P. Nicholas Ashford

  • LOL He's given us some of the most prolific of our generation...he could wear a tutu and I wouln't care. God bless them both.

  • Vocal greatness and top talents - love them - love them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Ashford and Simpson still complement each other perfectly. What an honor to witness that after all this time they are still going strong!

  • there great singer still, but it seems both stocked in to the 80s! There outfits looks horrible!

  • Nick Ashford co-wrote every one of those damn songs; as far as I can concerned he could be up there naked and be no less a legend. None of which is to say, however, that he should.

  • I love Nick Ashford for real. But baby that tank top is sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo WRONG

  • Y'all quit your hating on NICK.

  • nick take off the halter top bro

  • What the fuck I love the music, but Ashford is gay.

  • They said the same thing about Prince & Michael Jackson. He's been married 35yrs. If he is, so what? Being gay is not a bad thing.

  • @syecapsys the same what i thoght...

  • @syecapsys Was it really worth pointing that out? Just because this man is comfortable with his masculine and feminine side don't mean he's gay! Yawl need to stop that judgmental crap - that's why black men are jacked up now with all of this unbalanced machismo crap!

  • ok, I love 'em both to death and I kow just about all their songs but its time for ol' Nick to stop wearing these tight ass clothes that clearly show his roll peeking over his waistline...and he can take the weaves out too. Like I say, I love 'em to death but enuf of the shaking the hair weave like he's Diana Ross, for cryin out loud

  • I kinda agree but that's his trademark and believe it or not thats his hair I saw it on a show and it wasn't permed it's actually a big afro when it's natrual

  • Sorry commented to soon he didn't have that much hair on the show LOL look like those are extensins or whatever but he still has alot of hair

  • LOL,, u got me rolling over here, you are right , time for a change, I have loved them from the 70's ,

  • Damn! All the good musicians perform at the Paradiso. Why do they find such audiences in Europe but can't seem to make it big here in the U.S.? Ashford and Simpson did have quite a run in the U.S. but not so much anymore. I want to go to Amsterdam!!

  • hinamauka - You've answered your own question - Europeans love "good musicians"... Americans (especially the younger generation) tend to love degenerate, superficial, mindless garbage!

  • It's sad too, to continue on.... American audiences have never really appreciated their 'own', as well MAY be said about the overseas too! As there has 'always' been an 'exchange'. WE have ALWAYS been 'ICONIZED' over there, much more than here! Don't know why that is, and I don't appreciate it either! I AM an artist, and well understand the frustrations, AND well appreciate our 'own'! They Are PHENOMENAL! A & S particularly!

  • they have a better music culture, and they arent as racist as America's structure,

  • One year later,i missed this concert so,thank you for posting.

  • What a Little pair of leather pants!

  • It's True!!! There's nothing like the real thing!!! Thanks for posting this utterly breathtaking tune!!!!!

  • I was there!!! They are the best! Thank you for posting

  • Ashford & Simpson has shown for many years what TRUE LOVE is all about! I LOVE YOU.

    KathyW

  • Two of my favorite writers ever. I hope to have their string of hits!

  • After 40 years. They still got something to give. And for that i am very thankful. Two of the best writers

    ever. Keep Going!!!! DrJAColeman.
