  • Glorious. I've cherished the single for 20 years and not seen the video since this was broadcast back in the days of four channels and seven inches. So bless you for posting boyleastlikelyto, whoever you are.

  • I have the version that includes both Morrissey and Sandie and I also have the version with just Morrissey.

In my opinion Morrissey's version seems very unappealing but the version of both of them sounds very good. Sandie complemented Morrissey's voice in the background which made the whole song complete.

  • I'm thinking Moz would not have liked this video

  • I'm a huge fan of Sandie's ,but I don't think this is a great song - the tune is so poor ,I don't know why she covered it!

  • I thought he wrote this song specifically for her. is there a morrissey version?

  • i realy dont like her voice

  • what's wrong with her voice ;is yours better xicano?

  • oh grow up.

an i realy couldnt compare. i am not a proffesional singer releasing songs also it is a great tune she just killed it . i love it when morrissey sings it

  • there´s no smiths demo. Its a Morrissey song, not a Smiths tune.

  • you say that, but i really have it(and it's a lot better than the sandie version).

  • i have it to. and your rite it is soooo much better

  • the smiths demo it's a lot better

  • Fuck off with your F sharpe. Lets see what you can do dickhead

  • I can "fuck off", no problem... but I'm afraid that the F sharp note is here to stay for eternity. Rather like the effect it has in this song.

  • I like the demo version with both of them singing. Features fake horns though, unlike this version

  • Great lyrics but the tune reveals Morrissey's melodic weakness - surely the reason he never released it. Poor Sandie is marvellous as ever but what could anyone do with so little to work with.

  • Eh?! what do you mean? This is a cracking tune!

  • I mean the Fsharp note! I enjoy the melody enough for the 1st verse but to keep on returning to that blasted Fsharp so often throughout every other section seems more like "melodic weakness" than effective inspiration.

  • awesome thank you so much

  • what a fantastic song. Too bad Morrissey never released his own version.

  • i have the smiths demo

  • did you get off limwre coz i did and it says smiths demo but morrissey voice is on it much more tht here and you can barely hear her

  • i have it from a friend,on msn;i d0n't know where she take it.

it's moz singing with someone playing the music, and i suppose was rourke, joyce and marr.

  • I love the version with BOTH of them singing this song. Shame it never made it on neither's record.

  • I think this is an underrated song by Moz - if only he still wrote lyrics like that.

  • Thanks for posting this. Loves it!
