You guys probably dont believe me, but I unlocked Luigi using the "2" Time clock trick, and then battling him at peach castle. But the weirdest thing is I didn't battle Metal Luigi... just a normal Metal Mario battle, yet I still unlocked Luigi. Weird.

I did the exact same thing only with Roy and it didn't give me luigi...i fought him with peach and after i finished I fought him again...he didn't appear with metal mario though. Do you have to play w/ an original character?

well after you fought luigi and peach, you have to beat the whole adventure mode and then at the end it will say "WARNING A NEW FOE HAS ARRIVED" and then you have to fight luigi again
