  • My family was on this excursion. The current was very strongthat day. This is one of the only water excursions not cxld that day. Crew was NOT trained in CPR. Thank you to ALL of the Carnival guests that worked frantically to save her.

  • This has all been fixed. I went on this same activity 3 days ago. They had a lifeguard swimming around. They also were calling for people to come back if they went away from the boat

  • There should have at least some lifeguards nearby.

  • Who the hell signs up a 71 year old woman up for such an activity?!

If your a healthy 30-40 year old, ok.

You're in your 60's or 70's, go sight seeing.

  • The excursion should have been supervised, and undoubtedly someone should have been in the water with them.

  • If you know anything about the ocean, you would know ' currents ' are a natural thing. They have nothing to do with Carnival nor the sub contractor who the excursion was through. Don't get me wrong, though this IS tragic. You can't blame her death on Carnival nor the sub contractor of the excursion... blaming it on nature, that I can validate.

  • @heidrenalin i agree

  • @onealhart54 I also agree that it most definately should have been supervised.
