All I grasped from watching this clip was a lot of comments, that went along the lines of 'as far as I know' - wake the frig up guys, and learn to think with your own minds, rather than relying the load of crap that we're fed from outside our country. I also feel the short/long term dangers that come from irrigation, to foods that we will eat, was entirely missed. Really throws the whole purpose of organic eating out the window, when our food is watered with chemical filled dangers.
So Evil. Such Greed. What happened to solar power? Those companies not yet bought up by the Big Corporations that try to get into solar? Look into what the government uses, which is infra-red solar panels.
This is an absolute shame upon the souls of those who pursue this path. From their uncaring employees to the corporate Hydra-Heads. It is time for us to use the tactics governnents do, find a way to Boycott these corporations. They do not deserve our $. Read Babbit- it's about water.
Jed Clampet struck black gold on his property. He moved to Beverly Hills. But for some reason if you have a valuable resource on you land in Australia, you're not entitled to it or the profits? Hmmm, just the government and they're mates own it.
This is a fucking disgrace! the Australian Government are a fucking Disgrace, All these gas workers should be tracked down and knee capped, Australia as a whole should riot, protest and really kick up a nasty arsed shit storm....
@MsTsarbomba Excuse me but didn't Obama make similar proposition in the State of the Union address 2012 ? So is Obama and America communist ? It is simply corporatocracy. It solves two problem temporarily, it creates jobs so people are pacified.
So pls pls pls behave ur manner to show a good example of demonstration to move into a better level in civilisation instead of blaming other people and spreading races opition in public. Me and u, we both are educated people and living in a multi culturals country-- australia.
But hey, after u being up set by australian government and white anglo business men who ripping off from u. Can u pls don't point your finger and throw ur angers to chinese?? At least u have to admit that chinese didn't thuggery in this CSG issue.
Excuse me Silowhore. I'm a chinese and there were 2chinese ladies included me joined the stop csm campaign on last tue. I totally undrstand most of chinese are materialistics, self-fished, don't fucking bother about natural conservation issues but only care about monetary. I always up set for chinese characteristics and cultures too.
who gives a fuck how much it's worth, you shouldn't be allowed to set foot on someones land without their consent let alone build anything on it, it's outright theft, trespassing and government thuggery
In America there is a difference. Americans have to approve the well being drilled, receive part of the profits (huge lump sums up front), has more regulation (still needs more but it is there), and if something horrible happens there is the option to sue. So don't think the US is that bad because if you tried to get away with some of the things they are doing here in the US you would be sued into bankruptcy. I feel for the Australians and to Americans affected but the Americans are better off.
@StupidCommentsMademe If you take the time to do a little research, you will quickly see that people in the US have as much choice as those in Australia.
@auntytantan If the outcomes were as bad as they say they were in Australia were to be repeated in the U.S. the result would be a mountain of paper work and huge legal settlements. I have no idea if there were settlements there or not but lawyers in the U.S. have a lot of power.
Classical fracking is safe, but to extend fracking to coal seams is just plain stupid because coal seams are most of time right amongst underground water and there is an excellent chance of contaminating ground water. Conventional fracking like drilling down 5 - 10km is totally removed from underground water and therefore perfectly safe, provided the drilling company has proved that the drill well's casing is properly sealed.
The Government says Climate Change is "The Great Moral Challenge Of Our Generation". What hypocrits......While the government stands by and lets the environment be directly distroyed by CSG. While people are robbed of their land, they. While people are being poisoned. The next generation will see this government as corrupt tyrants. Definately not saviours of the environment.
their your best 'friends' and can offer you protection/services when you pay... but they make sure you can never escape thier grasp, and if you have something they want they'll find a way to take it...
THat Cu*T needs to be shot. So do all the companies and Corporates.
All this for a salary, an income, a job. Jesus. How shallow and how short lived this will be. the poor country. I wish it was the 80's again. I cant contain my anger or frustration.
You can't stuff around with out most precious resourse (water) and Food producing land with un proven technology (every piece of evidence suggests it is extremely devistating) and be confident that a "very vigorous Monitoring Regime" is enough to make it alright to continue doing. . Sorry. FUCK what the Fuck is going on. Is this A fucking Joke. When the hell is Everone going to get up and fight for this. And why is there only a piss all 1825 views.
Selling our minerals to china and india etc for a quick buck. F*$K the natural environment, lets just profit from our rescources.Well guess what? There WILL come a day when we have too reckon for our decisions, there is going to be a huge clean up bill and not mention the medical costs as well.Pollies are narrow minded fools who don't think outside four year terms; Australia should remain a paradise, we should never have allowed foreign interests too dictate our agendas. We must owe alot of money
Fracking is devastatingly dangerous; moreover its in our backyards - Canada faces the same outrageous injustices by the big Oil&Gas companies. With every chance you get, oppose natural gas extraction as the fracking process is highly toxic. Wake up world - this negatively impacts us ALL. .. AND, discuss this with everyone you know; educate them to take a stand against big business gains over human concern.

There is enough free information on the internet to tell those that they need to fight this with everything they can. Greed far outweighs the care for people.
Profits being put before life they should say, once fracking is done the chemicals will polute the water table and the air we breath and can never be undone.
Unbelievable. also look into the Brigalow Corporation. our soveriegn rights to own our land have been removed and the Title Fee Simple has been changed. Google Brigalow Corporation.
Arsenic in the water can be a result of fracking. Many cases now show that extremely dangerous levels of Arsenic in drinking water appears after fracking starts. Either it's in the fracking solution or the process is extracting it from rocks. The truth is they wont tell us what chemicals are being used. Here do a search for "Arsenic fracking" it's quit amazing.
@simona2005 Ben's death had nothing to do with fracking,I can't believe you would use the tragic death of a great young Aussie to push your ill informed agenda.
Fracking creates massive cracks that suck the groundwater in.Australia just sells itself off.
Enviromental concern isn`t an issue.
