  • @Nauckauha It may be possible for a felon to legally purchase a firearm, but I don' tknow how one would go about doing it. I know a guy who got 3 DUI's within 5 years, the third one being a felony, and 15 years later he tried to purchase a handgun and was denied because he was a felon. I don't agree with that at all. I can see restricting violent felons, but they will jutst get them some other way. No gun law ever passed in this country has made anyone safer.

  • Us New York gun owners are barely tolerated here and we are constantly more afraid of the police than anything else. It truly is a gross miscarriage of justice and our rights in this state.

  • @EverHurt I feel for you brother. You guys in NY and CA are truly oppressed. States with the strictest guy laws are known for having the highest crime rates. States with the most lenient gun laws have the least crime. Go figure!

  • @The1MOA Maybe not just a magazine that holds more than 10 rounds, maybe a magazine period. The bill says any magazine that holds more than 10 rounds or can be converted to hold more than 10 rounds. It makes me a little afraid they could try to ban any magazine fed firearm.

  • well i can't own a gun without doing 5 years and that doesn't seem to be up for any change. If folks are ok w/me not owning guns why should i care if they violate ur rights?

  • @assman255 Why are you not allowed to own a gun? What felony or felonies did you commit?

  • @Glasgow1270 when did u loose virginity, how many wrecks have u been involved in, what's ur vision like, ever get angry, ever not like someone, what's ur medical record like? just more shit that doesn't matter like what i have on my record i didn't do! my point is still the same were not free if were not in jail and have to obey stupid restrictive rules that won't stop bad things from happening at all, hell may cause more bad things. virginia tech an armed student stoped shooter, cops 10min later

  • @assman255 You sound like an impish child who got caught stealing a cookie and doesn't want to be in trouble for it. If you do something wrong you get in trouble. Sorry no one ever taught you that before.

I asked what the felony or felonies you committed are because it does matter. I don't agree that all felons shouldn't be restricted. However, violent felonies, drug crimes and domestic violence I agree with. They shouldn't be armed.

  • @Glasgow1270

united we stand divided we fall. fall we shall

  • @assman255 Yes, we're divided. We're law abiding citizens. You're a felon. We get to have guns. You don't. Sucks to be you!

  • @Glasgow1270 great video and i agree with you man. i dont understand why they dont get it the only ones who will follow the law are you and me not criminals thankgod for the people and the NRA

  • i think "not transfer" means you cant also inherit them.

  • @DudeNumberOnePlus I'm sure you can't. Once you have them they are yours forever, even if you sell the gun.

  • we should introduce a bill to repeal nfa 34 and gca 68 in response to hr308.

  • @Chriznak I totally agree with repealing NFA 34, but there are parts of GCA 68 I agree with. Basically just the banning of drug users and illegal aliens from having guns. Other than that, get rid of all of it. These laws just infringe upon our rights and don't keep anyone any safer.

  • Great video! McCarthy is a liberal extremist

  • @762Fanatic2 Go to house.gov and let your legislators know you feel that way. That's the only way they will listen to WE THE PEOPLE!

  • They did not confiscate handguns in Australia in 2009.

  • @alexthebomb542 You're right, they were turned in. Over 600,000 handguns were turned over to the government in 2009, to the public's detrement.. They are classified as Class H weapons and you have to be a competitive target shooter to own one. An automatic has to have a 4.72" barrel and you have to shoot a minimum number of matches per year. Mags are restricted to 10 rounds. We probably wouldn't see a law banning handguns here, we would see some ridiculous law like Australia's.

  • @Glasgow1270 As per the supreme court rulings on the matter, I do not believe that in either of our lifetimes we will see a ban on handguns (at least on a federal level).

  • @Glasgow1270 I don't either. The last ruling was 5-4 though. If there had been 1 more liberal on the bench we would be screwed! A journey of a 1,000 miles begins with 1 step. This H.B. 308 is a step in that direction .

  • Why do you think the Brady campaign allows no rebuttal? It seems when liberals put something on youtube they do not want to hear the other point of view. When the conservatives put their point up the liberal point is invited... I plan to ad a short video to this post.

  • @stetsonwalker Liberals often don't want a rebuttal on any issue. That's why they are trying to silence talk radio. The Brady Campaign is a joke. I'm glad my state has a perfect score of 0 on the Brady scale.

  • @stetsonwalker So true. They close down the comments.. they don't care what WE THE PEOPLE have to say on the subject!

  • Amen brotha, I appreciate you putting yourself out there. It's only the voices of decent people that will outweigh the actions of evil ones.

  • @jfrank1999 No doubt. We can't let this thing get passed. This would just be the first step down a long dark path we don't want to be on!
