Too many to name.
In the 80's most bands in the UK charts were either from Scotland or Liverpool!!
@barryxf Duran Duran are from Pinner Harrow from the same place as Elton John. And three miles from there in Bushy Wham. UB40 are from Birmingham. Madness are from Camden town London. The jam from London. I produced Duran Duran on 6 of there early Hits.
@joshjazant3 Wikipedia states that Duran Duran were formed in Birmingham in 1978 but thnx for the info. I didn't know you produced Duran Duran in the early days, the result was brilliant, I loved those hits and still do to this day!
@joshjazant3 simon le bon is from there but the rest aren't.It says you're 28 on your youtube channel???so when you produced the'yre early hits you were minus-10??
Aye, me too but I cant help thinking its a bit sad all these now middle aged men on youtube lusting after a young claire. Me - I'm just here for the music. check out the see those eyes vid, three down on the right. Man she was perfection :P
tho I prefered the song they did "Happy Birthday" this was a good 80's classic song..............and I saw Clare Grogan on the tv a couple of months ago and she still looks good for her age.......
@sugarkaneandchloe Kate Bush (Wow, unbeleivable!) She was/is gorgoeous. My favourite in the 80s was Suzanne Hoffs, those eyes and legs! forget it and before her Suzi Quatro. There was something about girls from way back, I think they had to have talent then to get on. Not like today with MTV and the like. It's now only about appearance, shame. Anyway, I digress, your turn!
duran def birmingham. not harrow
chevgr 1 month ago
@chevgr In Birmingham '78 by John T and Nick R with Stephen "Tin Tin" Duffy on vocals. Simon joined later. First gigs at Rum Runner club.
All songs off first 2 albums produced by Colin Thurston who died in Jan '07

She was the original Kochanski in the early series of Red-Dwarf.
And with Claire as Kochanski, I can see how she stole Dave Lister's heart.
