The video is so sexist. A wife is supposed to do everything for her husband, including cleaning his shoes. Are we moving towards equality of sexes at all?

That is one of themes of this film. This song is the dream of the hero, Jayasurya and Navya Nair is depicting his imagination. But in real life, he marries Bhama and she is upset with him for not taking up a husband's responsibilities.

So the video is intentionally 'sexist' because it represents the unrealistic expectations of the hero from his wife, which fails in real life later. But the film itself asks for equality of sexes, where husbands need to do their share of work.
