There are two deadheads on the Hudson Line that run 12 car deadheads. The first one is a northbound: 2717, and that usually comes into Harmon at around 10AM (M3's). The second one is a southbound of 12 M3's at around 3 or 4AM. However, I have seen some 14 car M3 trains that were in service, but it was usually the rear 10 cars that were open, and the front four were closed.
