Excellent ideas Mark. A thoughtfull and clear description of the difficult buddhist idea of emptiness. The idea of the cloud of relationships as an entity out of which meaning emerges is very important - called the memesphere, or noosphere or collective unconscious, and which also carries our sense of "I". The materialist bias in the way we think of 'words' and 'selfs' gives rise to a lot of the illusions we carry about our personal reality, and how we are in the world. Great stuff.
