Howdy, Just wondering how long one of these things would last, because usually cans burn in fire. Does it burn when in a controlled flame. Great vid thanks
Hey man, These last a LONG time, alcohol does not burn hot enough in this scenario to burn the stove. The flames are going up and there is little heat anywhere that could get burned.
interesting chaulk wick, flattened bowl(good idea), remove a sliver instead of just a slice or 2.
this may help
make a shim out of the waste middle to guide the edge into the lip.
you make a piece 1" -2" long and 1" or so wide then round the corners to use to help get those tight edges in.
if you flare the can by using the can bottom as you did but roll at a angle then with more pressure hold it up right to allow the alluminum to rest around the hole can bottom.
