Ah, back when the Chow Wagon was actually worth something. Even had its own 'booth' with name proudly displayed. And multiple locations no less. Why didn't that format continue? Anyone know?
Shame to make all of us citizens drive all the way to the riverfront (only now) for the teensy chow wagon of today, esp with gas being $4/gal now.
The day after this was recorded would be WLKY's last broadcast day EVER as 32 Alive. Do you have anything from that day, such as their sign-off & 11 PM newscast? Did the anchors of the newscast mention the death of the 32 Alive moniker? If you dont have anything from that day, can you at least upload more 32 Alive era footage?
I haven't found anything from 9/28/86 yet but I'm still searching. The last weeknight newscast from 9/26/86 is on here. The earliest my tapes go back to is mid-1986 so my 32 Alive stuff is limited but I'm still digging.

They still had the Gannett look, even though they were owned by Pultizer at this point.
