  • Worlds...Rawest...Song. If this got on the radio, it could turn Christendom into ashes. And it's got some hilarious lines to balance out the sobering, 'Midnight Cowboy'-level realism.

  • I LOVE how 826nessa - just wrote the ford EFFIN and the words cocksucker in the same sentence ........ how polite

also .......... why would you have to eat Assss paragus @frenchfriedfrenchman?

  • Comment removed

  • no homo hahahahahah

  • hey king of all whites, first that comment leads me to believe your a neonazi, which makes you scum, and apparently from looking at your youtube page, I'm not the only one that feels that way about you. And if you don't 'get' the Rolling Stones then you don't deserve to listen to them anyway. They are Rock N Roll. As a matter of fact billed as THE WORLDS GREATEST ROCK N ROLL BAND. And if you don't like it, TOO Effin Bad! Stones Rule Cocksucker blues is great and who cares who Mick slept with?

  • Fuck the rolling stones! This is so fucking gay!!!

  • @frenchfriedfrenchmen Seriously man. "Cocksucker Blues"? What the hell! Did David Bowie eat asparagus the night he wrote this or something? What the fuck?!?!!

  • Had this tune on a 12" bootleg back in the late '70s. First time hearing it since then. Love that it's just Jagger and an acoustic guitar. Just wish they'd give the green light to the film itself, and get it over with. Although with its given title it may not happen in my lifetime.

  • In Spanish this song is called "El blues de Hugo Chavez"

  • Comment removed

  • Sounds like the same thing as love in vain.

  • what the fuck i just spelled YOU COCKSUCKER

  • I am in love with this song. Genius, period.

  • is this originally a hole song?

  • @veverzay ummm...no.

  • @veverzay ... Um... NO !!!

  • @veverzay Hole????Oh, Honey, you must, educate yourself, on the Stones, they are the original rock band. Hole? I am dumbfounded

  • yes its an Ahole song

  • good enough to bite !

  • Fabulous.

  • I'd like to hear axl rose singin' this

  • This is the closest I'll ever get to Mick Jagger talking dirty to me. -_-

  • " when can i get my cock sucked when can i get my ass fucked ?"

I don't understand DECCA it's fucking rock and roll !!!!

    the rolling stones <3

  • Um okay then

  • i got jagger singin this playin a piano on his own in a space near where the band were before and after an american stadium gig..on the film 'cocksucker blues' a lot of it is black and white and theres a scene on the plane where the stones and roadies/personel are together and some of the roadies rape this woman on camera, you could tell she dident want helmet pie. THE STONES WERE NOT DOING IT. THEY JUST LET IT HAPPEN! they self banned it for decades

  • love the stones. love the stones. love the stones.

  • It's Shit. End of story. I hope you live well and discover new music that will make you a less bitter person It's funny you8 feel the need to Defend this Shit. I on the other hand don't give a Fuck who you are or what you do. I'm here to say... this song is Bad. any band could made it. @LizRichieBand

  • I agree, he is quite a useless artist. He will never change, drugs fucked him up. They say drugs make good music, I'd say druggies like anything they hear. As a pothead I spose I lack the amont of drugs needed to appriciate Shit @LizRichieBand

  • yeah, they should not have earned 1 bit's worth of cash off of this Shit. Welll... I dunnn beeen rounnn this towwwn for twelveee dayyyeeessss < Pwnt. @LizRichieBand

  • sounds kinda like Sister Morphine

  • @glimmer2158 ...yes, raw, bluesy greatness! thanks for the note!

  • lol, this is like their only good song

  • Has anyone got the Beasts Of Bourbon doing this?

  • This is a amazing song.

  • sounds like somethin i could makeup on the fly. maybe I should be worshiped.

  • @hexadots That makes a difference? The music they have made is great. Who cares about any musician's (male or female) sexual orientation? Do you?

  • @kurtizzyflush Listen! It's a prank!

  • happy birthday mick jagger

  • @redstrat8 I'd buy THAT for a dollar!

  • @redstrat8 that should ruin it forever...

  • @redstrat8 - huge grin.

  • i may have no money but i know where to put it everytime.

  • great song really is good.

    but wow amazing photos

  • oh go ahead...

  • I'm a married female with kids LOL If I was a guy I would be Gay ;)

  • this is such a haunting song! im taking it seriously, it just sounds like they are ridiculing the treatment of gays at that time.

... or they could be fucking around idk haha

  • @BigTone2112 -read kelanaweiss's comment. correct. shidoobee.

  • @BigTone2112 No, they were just trying to get rid of their current record company!

  • @BigTone2112 That's the cool thing about songs; they're all open to individual interpretation! The "real" story behind this song, however, is their record label absolutely screwed them & stole TONS of money. Then the label had the gall to tell the Stones they owed them another single before they left. No problem. The Stones gave them a song the label could obviously never put on shelves or the radio, so the stones satisfied their contractual agreement, and the label couldn't make a dime off it.

  • This song has nothing really to do with sexuality, it was the last song they owed Decca. The Stones were going to leave the contract owing one song, Decca said they would keep the Stones in court forever. Mick and the boys threw up their hands and gave Decca a song they could not possibly release, BUT still fullfilling the contract

  • @kelanaweiss

and, not being able to identify with the content aside, it's not a bad blues number.

  • You know, this is actually a pretty good song...it's kind of a shame that they just wrote it as a prank, it would have made a nice little B-side.

  • the problem, for me, is when i find myself humming it in my head. ;)

and yes, i agree. but then, I find close to nothing that they have ever recorded less than stellar.

  • It was more then just a prank... In fact, they wanted to quit a record company pretty badly, but deca record had an "option" and they decide to push it down in a harsh way, but they were totally in their right... So The stone had to do a single, and decide to do it very very quickly so it will be done. They make this sound and it was done, but deca record was legally stick with it.

  • @IoEstasCedonta

this was done because they were about to leave DECCA/LONDON records, the label said they owed them one more song, so Jagger & Richards delivered this to them, and the company didnt release it. Funny thing, several books describe the song several different ways. people thought mick wrote this because he was bisexual, like some books claim. ALSO THANK S TO DECCA/LONDON and Allen Klein for all the repackages.

  • some a them. some a them,, they're alriightt...

  • yep.

  • yep.

  • hahaha yeah iwonder how they felt when Decca heard the lyrics for the first time LoL

  • Well, they probably only got as far as the title.

  • very haunting song .

  • full instrumnetal version? Where do I find that one? anyone know?

  • Love this one !!

  • i love this song :D

  • This is perfect. I bet it was hard as hell to keep a straight face to record it too

  • you can tell in 2:29 that he was holding back laughter when he said "tight" lol

  • so not true....u homophobes are just scared your heros can get down with the cock.

truth, mick jagger used to kick it at studio 54 AND the gallery AND the loft in nyc in the 70s and early 80s...AND he always showed up with who? david bowie, hand in hand. prank. not. the both swung both ways. big deal.

  • which one of my comments are you refering to?

  • the one right above mine. and l1tn1n6

  • i never said anything regarding homosexuality.

  • you didn't have to. why can't the song be meant seriously? maybe they had the song already but it was too risque to put out, and the need to get out of the contract the impetus to actually produce the track? u EXPECT jagger et. al is totally hetero, therefore the song could not possibly reflect anything serious. you ought to take a second listen to the track, and not be so quick to think that it was completely in jest. there is a DISCO version of this song with jagger,s seal of approval.

  • the disco version is incredible and it is on this ridiculously obscure german record label, and was recorded i believe in 1980... in any case, jagger is not laughing in the disco version.

doubt me if u will, but the only reason why i found THIS thread was because i was looking for the disco version on youtube, after hearing it in a club here in berlin and asking the DJ about it. discogs ain't got nothin. when i get my hands on it, believe me, i will upload it.

  • Okay, Maybe it was a serious song, but listen, at that moment, his tone of voice. It sounded like he was holding back laughter.

  • People are weird, getting their knickers in a twist over someone's sexuality they don't even know personally?

I'm SURE more then we think swung both ways lol People forget about bisexuality.

That's why the few we know now that were GAY back then had to hide it.

Got to hide your love away

  • Makes me hot :) I'm not Gay. But DAMN! I would love to see that on video ;) Beautiful boys.

  • I would have loved to be at two different places in the history of this song. 1. When Mick presented the lyrics to Keith. I bet they both laughed their asses off thinking about how far the faces of the executives at Decca would drop. 2. In the office of Decca when the executives heard the chorus for the first time. That would have been epic. What a slap in the face.

  • Ha ha. Classic.

  • god bless rock n' roll (but i dont believe in god)

  • no one cares

  • One of the best 'fuck you' gestures to a record company ever!

    Great song, too. Fuck Decca!!!

  • YEAH MEN, they rule ! Fuckers !!!

  • God bless The Rolling Stones

  • Wtf! :) tHis is fun!

  • What an ingenius way to get out of a record contract!

  • Ahahahahahaha!! So true, hun!! Gotta love it!

  • Isn't this just bloody awesome, Mermz?? GAWDDDDD!! I do fancy Mick like no other!!! WELLLL...ZAKK is right up there!!!

  • tnx for the share mia..this song tells it like it iz xD

  • "Well he fucked me with his truncheon...and his helmet was wayy too tight!"

    Fukin' AAA...

  • The lyrics are hilarious :D

    'leeeeaning oooon Nelson's coluuuuuumn'

  • I luv playing this song while my woman is doing exactly that title too me

  • Fair enough

  • Thank you.

  • It was written to insult Decca because they had to finish their quota before Decca would let them out. It's not "a deep look" or "astonishing insight" whatsoever.

  • great song

  • your the dumbshit you motherfucker

  • i'd love to hear this covered as an upbeat dance number.

  • i cant get this song outta my head

    lol

thats not a good thing singin that as a 18 year ol boy

    around me mom lol

    love the stones!

  • Donna can do a cock any day

  • Excellent choice of pics you used! Where did you get them? Just "here and there" or is there a story... Thanks for posting/creating this Vid!

  • i still can't believe they did this lol!

  • That's why they're the best in the world.

  • ha. so close that they are the best actually

  • you really have no idea what you re talking about do you ?

  • well, certainly not nummer 1 but there's no top 20 bands without the stones

  • fuck you man

  • Exactly. Thanks.

  • this song is kinda haunting, but a good one nonetheless!

    :P

  • Thank you!

  • your welcome!

    ;)

  • your welcome, nice vid!

    love the pics of mick...

    lol @ the end...

  • Great job and beautiful pics. Thanks

  • Thank you!

  • I know someone who sucked off Mick Jagger in Greece, after he recorded this song.

  • Mick is straight arrow. He's not a knuckle head,he's not a "in through the outdoor" man.

  • exactly.

    thank you.

  • Well, gee, I can't imagine why the record company wouldn't release this as a single.

  • :25

jagger either has really small hands or a huge cranium.

  • Even with G-rated lyrics, this would not have made a good single. It's essentially just "Sister Morphine" played sideways, and the fact that Marianne Faithfull's version of that song flopped demonstrates that there has never really been any demand for this sort of slow, sparsely recorded blues on top 40 radio in any era.

This might've made an amusing B-side or album cut, however.

  • Genius! I had heard all about this but never heard it...thanks muchly!

  • my pleasure!

  • Has the entire movie been released yet,if not will it be,and where can i get a copy.I also heard Led Zeppelin did their own home movie, and rare concert footage. Some of the movie was taken on"Ceasers Chariot",have you heard anything about it? thank-you.

  • this the real mick jaggeer - !!!!great great man inthe history of rock music and urban culture-

  • I've always really liked this song. I find it sets in vivid vulgar and crude images and Jagger's voice is as filthy as usual.

  • Although the song may not be one of the Stones' best, according to critics it epitomizes the Stones intelligent, subtle humour.

They owed Decca one more hit record.

This was Jagger's present to them.

They actually got a real present.

This is a classic song that will be recognized in years to come.

    Wonderful satire.

  • cocksucker blues

  • Yes!

    Si!

  • omg this song rlz!

  • 'rlz' ?

    why, thank you!

  • rlz= rules!! , i luv the song , i really like it , the music is great

  • Well, that's one way to get out of a record contract...

  • Jagger didn't get into the London School of Economics based only on his marks. I agree.

This is, perhaps, the most ingenious method that a modern rock band got out of a contract.

  • Where did you download this from?

Every version I find on Limewire is garbage.

  • fag

  • I saw a very limited showing of the movie cocksucker blues at the Whitney museum in New York in 1981, and in 1979 I had sex with a guy who got it on with Jagger, so indirectly I consider myself a man who has savored the aura of Jagger's cock and ass. I also performed in CBGBs. And so, to paraphrase Joan Crawford, I consider myself Rock and Roll royalty.

  • pleasure.

  • what'd u preform at cbgb's for. were you in a good band or something?

  • Did you get Mick's VD, Your Highness?

  • Never heard the original version before. Thanks for posting.

The Australian band The Beasts Of Bourbon do a great version of this.

  • Very Cocksucked goood. :D

    The Greatest.

  • Thank you very much!

  • Why, thank you very much! Mickalicious!

  • These are some FUGLY pictures of Mick here. I like him, but these are not flattering photos of him..
