The difference between the Bible and the Book of Mormon is that BOM is a single book,1 author vs the Bible which is a collection of books and 40 different authors.Circular reasoning will be to determine truth based on a single writing by an individual with no external evidence vs multiple individuals who wrote in agreement over 1500 of history which has external evidence.Unlike the Bible, the book of Mormon does not stand the test of reason, history or archaeology.

LDS way of believing Book of Mormon: "We dont need to 'find' proofs. Its already true"
It's circular reasoning fallacy. Simply assuming a claim is true does not serve as evidence for that claim.It's like saying:
"X is true. The evidence for this claim is that X is true"
There is no evidence for LDS, only circular reasoning and absolute unquestionable obedience, who cares about right and wrong? just obey?!?!. that's a cult!

• Indeed LDS do not follow Joseph Smith,Brigham Young, or any man. We follow Christ. We believe our prophets with all of his strengths and weaknesses were chosen and called by God, and that God revealed many precious things to them.
Detractors of LDS prophets trying to destroy the Mormon church have existed since the beggining and their information continue being spreaded nowadays not only on books but on the internet too.

Whether or not someone (including Smith) has sinned is between them and the Lord. I don't believe that Jesus committed sin but for ex: what a bizarre comparison of striking children to striking adult money changers in the temple. This event illustrates a point. The jews AT THE TIME viewed Jesus as a blashpemer and an assaulter. We now do not. See the danger of removing people from the context of their time.

Joseph Smith and Brigham Young said and did things that, in the context of today, may seem strange to someone predisposed to criticize and destroy. However, I also believe that God worked throught Joseph and Brigham to accomplish His purposes
