@BadEditPro In the early 80's I had to be 10-11 a DJ intentionally played the un-edited version of erotic city on his morning show here in Chgo. The station is WGCI which I think is still on the air, but the jocks name was Bob Wall. He was a white jock on a station that played urban music, & he was pretty popular. I used to get dressed for school in my Mom's room, & listen to his show. The day he played this my Mom heard it & ran full speed from the dining room to turn it off! I loved it.

Radio programmers were so eager to get the next hit on that they didn't take time to actually listen to the record! I remember hearing some really chopped up edits for a while after the first unedited airing. By the way, the station I heard it on was K-94 (WMYK, Elizabeth City, Virginia Beach) and the jock was Mike Allen. I worked with him years later but never asked him about it. :) JC
