  • made thigns clearer thx!

  • stop codon must be UAA , UGA , UAG right ??

but why is it AUG here ???

  • @Zahra465 your right, AUG is the start codon

  • coooooooool and easy

  • B2 A* here i come...^_^

    Cheers :)

  • OH WOW I was so confused this whole time about protein synthesis and had no idea where to start but this video surprisingly helped! It's protein synthesis in a nutshell thanks so much!!!

  • @thedancingdino3 We are so glad this helped you!

  • @ambookco What is current state of bioengineering to weave/biosynthesize proteins artificially/manually? The last I heard (back in 2008-2009) from my biotech teacher was that scientists had been able to put together about 50 residues before the protein folded so much on itself, making it impossible to attach any more amino acids.

  • awesome video really !!!! Keep up the good job guys!!! Thx to people like you u tube helps me save a lot of time in understanding things in molecular biology ... some sound would be extra useful though.

  • @gohs020858 Thank you for your kind words. We are so happy you like our videos.

  • Thank u Thank u Thank u Thank u, i need a stop codon to stop thank you...no kidding, this is the best video ever on protien synthesis, it made things cyrstal clear....

  • @ullasrajchellappan1 We are so happy this video helped you!

  • I LOVE THIS VIDEO, it taught me everthing in 5 mins what reading couldn't teach me in 1/2 an hour. THANK YOU SO MUCH to uploader!

  • @Jalanko13 Thank you for the suggestion.

  • Thank you, I finally get it :)

  • @ClaireenaBear Great to hear!

  • what happens when if the the protein synhesis is blocked? lets say from administering Ricin? what are the events?

  • Very nicely animated, simple to understand :D

  • @kafumbla Thank you.

  • so is the yellow thing a ribosome?

  • @sourstrawberriesxx Yes it is a ribosome. Sorry for the late reply.

  • Thanks Heaps, very useful ;)

  • your stop codon is wrong. It is supposed to be uag. my 5th hour class is awesome and they figured it out......

  • @jvalley2 You are correct. It is suppose to be UAG. We are working on fixing the error. So yes, your class is awesome. :)

  • thanks this was so helpful with my work youtube has everything :)

this made it easy to understand and all the information was there

    thanks again :)

  • @kayleighjane100 We're so glad you found our video helpful.

  • Thanks HomoRationabilis for the link. It does give some more information.

  • I might just pass higher biology now :) thank you!!

  • NEEDS SOUND other than that great

  • cool.. simple but understandable .

  • Nice video!

  • this is helpful..thanks.!!

  • Wow this was so easy to understand it helped a lot and saved me a lot of reading and confusion :D
