This song came out in 1968/69 when I was away in high school, at a boarding school. One of my best friends had a great stereo (remember, we're talking 1968) with Kenwood speakers, and we used to rip this song after class, before going to lunch in the dining room. What a killer saxophone. It was a GREAT song then, and it still is.

I like this song better than 99% of other music out there, but it is on the low spectrum of what The Doors were capable of. the lyrics are unimaginative and predictable.
