I had an assumption here,that the code only active after the person's death,thats why Lelouch still got geass before dead.

Recall back how his father Charles and C.C. get their code...don't you all think so?

And didn't the season 2 named R2 to hint us that Lelouch get the code and having similar name like C.C. or V.V.?(R.R./R2)

But Lelouch fulfilled the contract by reaching the high level of Geass and so she passed the code to him through death, thus making him immortal. It's just like V.V. did to Charles, except C.C. gave it willingly whereas Charles took it.

I would have to say AWESOME. The person who came up with this had made a really good CG air to it. I would also fit along well and answer some unanswered questions. I think as far as this one works, giving the code doesn't entail death, but it does mean that you're no longer immortal; having just been, you know, IMPALED, and without her old ability to come back from anything, C.C. bled out like any other mortal.

This ending is good for one reason to me and that is that it makes more sense then the original don't get me wrong the original was good but Lelouch should have though more into the future.Because really how long does he think the zero requiem would have lasted forever. Hell no it would at most last a few years or a few hundred and that's only because of humans its r nature to fight to expand and conquer so of course we would need Lelouch again so this ending is better to me at least

1) R.R. = R2, which was obviously the subtitle of season 2

2) In Japanese, L and R are the same thing - Lelouch Lamperouge is spelt Ruruushu Ranperuuji, so for Japanese people, L.L. and R.R. are practically the same thing.

Lelouch is alive. He's the one driving the cart. He already posses immortality from defeating Charles and gaining the "2nd-Eye Geas Thingy" and C.C. said that

if you get the 2nd-Eye Geas Thingy and you're still sain, you're immortal and stuff.

Also, it was confirmed that Lelouch & Kallen were in love with each other. Lelouch was about to let that out too if it weren't for being interrupted.

unfortunately, you are wrong, his dad never passed his immortailty code to lelouch. becuase the anime clearly stated that once you gain the immortailty code you will lose you geass power, but lelouch still used his geass many times after his father and mother passed away....

However, if he -was- alive, I think this ending, with his immortality being unexpectedly forced on him, when he was willing to die, and then sealing himself away and becoming some inhuman legend, is probably the best alternate ending you could get, as it's still an ending that fits the rest of Code Geass.

CC ends up with Lelouch end of story. Nice Ending i love it. @pmlancers Also the creator has done SO many C.C. and lelouch pictures and I havent seen any LelouchxKallen/Shirly. So yeas they arent meant to be, the way the creator planned it. Also one of the most famous pictures the creator did was a picture of Suzaku and Euphie. and C.C. and Lelouch. Those are the two couples that are meant to be. The white and the black. They are made to contrast each other. C.C. and Lelouch ae supposed to bee together. Just like Euphie and Suzaku.
