  • bestial, chuck es el father del rock

  • raw rock lesson for Keith..

  • Chuck schooled KR and he still does. Keith knows it and appreciates it. No further

comments are required. Unless Carol is in the critics section....

  • yo keith Richard i hear you like weed

  • Poor Keith...Chuck abused him so badly....lol

  • Who's the piano player?

  • @KINGMJ1990

    it´s the late Johnnie Johnson

  • Chuck is the MAN! Makes that guitar scream!

  • lol at the beginnig from tension you'd tell it looks rather like a fight than like a jam session

  • im the only one who thinks that the drummer looks like andre 3000 from Outkast !? 2:29

  • @juanchoxx91 Yes, i agree with you. He really looks like andre. LOL

  • Simply the Best :D

  • GREAT DUET EVER!!!100*

  • Everybody knows the 9th try is the best one

  • black guys thinking white people cant rock & roll

  • this groove makes me cum

  • This is the real deal.. so much going on...

Chuck is Keith's idol... so its a tough moment to play in front your idol...

Sometimes a simple lick catches you "weird and awkward" happens to everyone now and then.. but let me tell you Chucks energy is off the chart man... Keith got it in the end and a was really grooving , but he is so in awe that he is playing with it overwhelms him. Just goes to show what a humble man Kieth is.. he is a legend and he gets embarrassed, how cool is that?

  • who is the pianist?

  • @unam7copas thats johny johnson

  • 3:34 playing too hard

  • i keep coming back to this rehersal...amazing interactions!

  • he invented rock and roll, he decides what is or not rock and roll.

  • So did I Bo... so did I...

  • You gotta love Keith's attitude

  • This should be named as "The master Keith getting lessons from God Chuck" :)

  • What a great moment frozen in time - these two visionaries of rock&roll together on the same stage unscripted and unrehearsed. This clip will be watched a hundred years from now.

  • at 0:13 Chuck says "The slur starts on the upper one." Keith never gets it right. Berry was a major influence to his writing and style. He is the humble but frustrated student. I respect him for swallowing his pride. I see the tension in the rest of the band but I think Keith really does want to get it right for Chuck. But he keeps starting on the bottom of the bend instead of the top. Probably had these licks committed to muscle memory & was frustrated not being able to re-wire the left hand.

  • ..."Don't let the heat overcome you when they play so loud

Oh, don't the music intrigue you when they get a crowd

You can't dance, I know you wish you could " GOOD !!!

  • Keith tiene tanta paciencia porque lo admira, si hubiese sido otra persona le habría partido la guitarra en la cabeza. Yo también adoro a Chuck Berry.

  • Listen! CHuck Berry plays extremely clean, score by score. Excellent!

  • the piano man is one serious bad motherfucker. amazing clip, i'm sure i'v commented months ago :>

  • the first two minutes i expected chuck to punch keith in the face

  • “If you wanna get it right, let’s get it right…”

  • If elvis is the king Chuck is the emperor.

  • @asiswhereis31 but Elvis did no play the guitar :( but had a great voice.

  • It looks like Johnnie Johnson is losing his patience more than Keith. ha

  • GOD thank you...ROCKING LIVE!!!

  • 2:22 oh looks that they just found out

  • 0:00-2:10 they seem to be having difficulties on finding out what's a guitar

  • keith is amazing on guitar chock is an legend on guitar

  • Check teaches K.Richards how to play Ho Carol

    Amazing

  • keith richards has rewatched this 42 times

  • lol 2 million views

  • @ about 3:20 they hit an groove that can't be stopped!!

  • ITS SOCOOL TO SEE TWO ICONS DEAL W EACH OTHER SO CORDIALLY IN A RESPECT CHUCK , KIND OF WAY..KUDO'S TO KIETH FOR MAINTAINING DURING CHUCK'S EGO KEY AND SOUND LEVEL FLARE-UPS...NO MATTER ...SO DAMN COOL....."oH CAROL...DONT LET THEM STEEL IT AWAY

  • keith is such a fucking PUSSY in this clip!!!

  • @69zenos1

He's not a pussy! Chuck is his idol and he obviously didn't want to fuck up in front of him. It would happen to you if you were playing with your favorite musician, too.

  • @ciaobellakate He is a pussy for getting pissed. He has playing it that way forever. Listen to the Stones. He should have held his ground and said. "THIS is the way I PLAY it!!" and just get over it. Who cares anyways. They are both old and dried now.

  • @69zenos1

I've heard The Stones play Oh Carol before, thank you. You're right though, he should have held his ground but he thinks Chuck is a better guitarist than he is and of course he wanted to learn how he did it. Problem was he was so used to his own way that he fucked it up and he was probably embarrassed.

  • Asshole, or not Chuck Berry is the man who inspired Keef to play guitar and for that he should show some respect and not be an asshole himself.

  • 3:34 he's jamming too hard.

  • 0:34 he's jamming too hard.

  • great!

  • yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

  • wow!!

  • lol dont know why keiths pissed, he did play it wrong!

  • did keith ever get it right?

  • chuck is all like "fuck it i' ll do the bend myself"

  • happy birthday mr chuck!!!!!!!

  • Who the f...k is that Keith Richards ???

  • @ElectraWillem i hope your joking...

  • 3:40 Fuck it you know the rest

  • this how it look likes when titans are together...

  • Até Keith teve de aprender com o Rei do Rock and Roll

  • :42 Keith's look is priceless!!!!

  • 2 guitar masters!

  • ya son leyenda viviente

  • Chuck Berry never played a show in tune,in his entire life. Now all of the sudden,He's a perfectionist...Prick.

  • @mattoco1 Chuck knows a thing or three about his own damn song. He wants it played right. So fucking what?

  • Chuck is a perfectionist and Keith just wants to flow with the music ..

  • Chuck is the alpha male in this one.

  • me encanta son unos grosos los dos!!!

  • I believe that the very essence of rock and roll can be distilled down to "Oh, Carole". This is the shit.

  • es bueniiisimo!

  • Minute 0:58

Keith stops the music.... Says something to chuck (Maybe we should use this chord.....) Chuck looks to the rest of the band And says with his eyes "Hehe,.he wanna show me how to play our songs???Play that rock´n´roll music, white boy, and shut up!!!"

  • Hey guys... those two legendary musicians have gotten their brain burned at that age.... it couldn't work.

  • grande chuck berry and keith richard

  • hhahahahaha.....lord keith found his master...hahahaha'!!!!!!

  • Keith being teached, LOL

  • so whos the daddy??

  • @largehedgehog chuck is....not chuck norris....chuck berry

  • @667nikolas Berry is way badder than norris

  • what is the number for chucks guitar es ???

  • This guy was lucky, his cousin was in the concert where Marty played Johnny B. Goode

  • buenaso

  • the pianist looks so pissed rofl!

this song makes my soul happy.

  • got biggie smalls on the piano. LOL!!!

  • @515742617000027

For sure i was thinking the same!!!

  • Keef teaches us the art of humiliation: Be quiet, don`t say a word.

  • guao, muy pero muy bueno que elegancia de Chuck,

  • @heroesrocksurf ya te digo tio

  • chuck might've talk'd this way to musician's for hire. every fucking one of 'em would know his every lick,as well.

    player's aren't as un-bending,i would've thought.

(&) stop talking to keith, like that.

  • .......Chuck is right. Sounds better when he plays it anywhow. They really get rockin'!

  • Are you paying attention Keef?

  • is that steve jordan on the drums?

  • at 3:45 chuck berry is like "you better get this fuckin right"

  • i am speechless :P

  • J'adore j'adore j'adore.

  • Chuck's like "get it right you hungover sonuvabitch!"

  • good to see that even the greatest sometimes screw it up

  • @irhjbaahh an asshole and pervert-he liked watching girls pee,got arrested for having cameras in the rest rooms of his motel..lol

  • @irhjbaahh sorry friend ur wrong keith is lucky to play w/ a great of his calibur.

  • @irhjbaahh

No, he's thinking that you're the asshole for posting shit.

  • the name of the song on 0:53? thanks

  • yeah man

  • 0:52 The drummers eyes popping out are just hilarious!!!

  • in the right time at the begginning he is doing right, but when c.b starts to pissed he off, he starts to get wrong, hauhauhua

  • @rodrigomohandas whats even funnier is after Kieth richards nailing it on his second try, chuck berry seems to be somewhat of a perfectionist. MAybe it wasnt humiliation, he just wants it to sound that perfect. But even after teaching him how, he just assumes that part on the final take ...

  • @octorent I think it's because Chuck wanted to play lead but Keith did and Chuck was making it a pain in the ass for him

  • Rock gods are human i guess. But do NOT piss off Johnny Johnson, cuz he's better than both of y'all. Johnnie "made" Chuck Berry's songs with that tight rock and roll piano. Johnny just got admitted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.... and way too late He shouldda walked in first,

  • Fuck Berry is a pain in the ass. Being the King of Rock and Roll carries a heavy burden. I guess the toughest thing is NOT to be an arrogant prick. That "pianist" happens to be the great Johnnie Johnson, who the song "Johnny Be Goode" was written about.

  • @ohsteven Is that the same pianist that Chuck Berry fired? In Keith's book, he finds out that a musician working for Berry was fired and was driving a bus somewhere and Keith sent someone to find him and hire him making music again. Richards wins this confrontation by sticking it out quietly and trying to please Berry (who can barely be pleased). In this way, Richards is by far the wisest. Whatever is on film is there for years. Now everyone can see how difficult Berry really is.

  • Who's the white boy?

  • @Microglia1 won't you mean Keith Richards?

  • Keith says in his autobiography "life" that Chuck was a real asshole

  • @acefacediscos Many people have said so about Chuck but in this case he just wants Keith to play his songs correctly.

  • @HoundDogJohn

oh come on, here chuck just acts like a baby with a big big big ego.

i like him but it is well-known that he is jealous of the stones, event though they always showed him the greatest respect and "reconaissance".

  • LOL They're all looking like "who is this white boy?" Fucking great track though.

  • the drummer seems like the only one whos having fun...................i guess hes stoned

  • chuck is the man

  • keith richard's epic fail hahaha

  • i guess the only nice guitarist to play with chuck berry is jimmy page...keith richard is bad !

  • @cac1987fcb keith richards is bad...? i hope you're kidding

  • Chuck Berry is A Godfather compared to a founder of The Rolling stones, Wow.

  • @Krakkhaus Actually, Brian Jones was the founder of the Rolling Stones. He brought Mick and Keith in with him.

  • @digy33 "Keith Richards (born 18 December 1943) is an English musician, songwriter and founding member of The Rolling Stones" he's one of the founders

  • THAT"S WHY CHUCKS THE MANNNNNNNNN

  • Man Chuck and Keith got some history. : P

  • the pianist 1:27 is like : am gonna kick his gut ouf his ass if he stops us again !!!

  • Notorius BIG on the piano:P haha

  • @moofokka nar mate jonny johnson look him up absolute legend

  • First time Chuck ever got stoned.

  • This is Rock n Roll Gold

  • @laurierken you amaze me. you obviously ain't totally stupid if you can recognize that.

  • ah yes, to rams butting heads. Keith should be curteous about it, but that's the way egos clash in a band. BTW, the great Steve Jordan on drums.

  • @cArLiT02oo8 Egos, mhm, but Chuck has his right. He can act like a master ...cause he is the master.

  • The MASTER CHUCK !!!!!

  • ESPECTACULARRRRRR

  • keith...and piano.

  • it really did sound better the way chuck wanted it. sorry keef....

  • No one plays Johnny B like James Burton.....

  • 0:43 Keith looks at the someone and says with his eyes...

"now are u happy? is that what u wanted? i did it good? is ok now? is a big difference? now this tune is not going to be like the other 40 songs you wrote...so, u know that u are a crap, and u are trying to humiliate me in front of your friends...ufff...i hope this rehearsal finished soon"

  • @chaskyto keith was responsible for reuniting pianist johnny johnson and chuck berry for this and berry is jerking around

  • @chaskyto read keith's biography before writing down shit asshole.

  • yes,,,u are right! i will read it now...psss

  • @chaskyto right should be right @1:22

  • Man, that is a trademark glare from Keith and not a sign of disrespect to Berry. He gives a similar look to Berry right around 3:35.

  • @chaskyto Just kill yourself, please.

  • @johnnyveiga just fuck your mother! I did it!

  • @chaskyto Loser, how can u even insult Chuck Berry. He started all this rock 'n roll. Jesus...

  • Noone follows the Chuck!

  • one meets a bigger ass

the bigger ass challenges the smaller ass to play his shit

smaller ass cant cope gets angry maybe shoots some white on the way

anyway the stones suck most overrated band in the known universe

  • Everyone is thinking, "Stupid White Man playing the blues" lol.

  • Piano's great.

  • I saw Chuck and Keith play together at the Chicago Blues Fest during this era. There was a lot of love there (and a lot of great music for the audience to hear) even if there were some rough spots between them also. It was a great time, people...

  • jaja look your eyes at 0:50

  • Chuck really gets inside Keefs head here, don't know how Chuck plays now a days but he had plenty gas in the tank when this was shot in 86.

  • Chuck Berry who never played the same song the same way on stage ever! Murders the words to the song he wrote by not singing all the words. Then has the balls to tell Keith hes not playing the damn song right. Those looks coming from Johnnie Johnson aren't aimed at Keith Richards. Hey Chuck! Keith is playing it just like Johnnie WROTE IT!!!!!

  • Now i understand how disagreements in bands start.

  • Chuck seems to be a perfect jerk in this video.

  • @HRM4009 he would be a jerk if he let keith play in the wrong way, instead of that he is helping keith to play the music better

  • yes

    the Hangover Dose

  • Then Keith TEACHES Chuck how it originally went. Priceless.

  • That look that Keith gives @ 00:42 is because he's close to killing Chuck, who made a complete arsehole of himself during the making of this doco, Hail, Hail Rock n Roll. The doco is fantastic but Chuck shows just how hard he is to get along with. During the actual performance show, he tries to change the key of a song mid-way and Keith refuses; talk about tense. The piano player is the great Johnnie Johnson, who played on all Chuck's early records and whose style Chuck copied for guitar.
