  • Great video of this little bird. To those asking, hummers are always very twitchy. They live their lives on a sugar high, and it shows.

  • She's just breathing. They have small lungs, so they breathe much faster then us.

  • Awesome video. I have a feeder close to my window and they mostly perch to drink, but can't seem to get good close up pictures. Guess I need a better camera!

  • I've never seen a hummingbird at rest! It seemed like he was breathing very fast~ maybe they have to catch their breath after flying around?

  • I think he was just trying to stay warm, it was cold and damp that day. The feeder is right above him, he chased off several other hummingbirds while resting there.
