Wanna know something crazy, Wilt Chamberlin, who scored 31,419 points in the NBA, never hit a single three point shot!!!! Wilt once scored 100 points in a game once (NBA Record), but in his entire career, he never hit a single field goal (3 point shot). Wanna know more,, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, the NBA's all time scoring leader with 38,387 points scored, only 1 three point shot.... Ray Allen holds the NBA record for most 3 points made at 2612 for a total of 7836 points. Kobe is 18th on the list.

You don't prove you are the greatest scorer by winning a scoring champ for a year or 2 (in kobe's case 2), you prove it by being consistent, Jordan has 10 scoring champs, 6 finals mvp, 5 finals mvp, 1 dpoy, 1 roty, 3 steal titles, and the list goes on

But Jordan, however, was the 1st person the defense was trying to stop and not to mention in the playoffs for his career I THINK he shot right at or around 50% which is quite impressive. Though he got many of his shots in the paint, he also got quite a bit from mid-range. I do agree with you though, Rip for a while there was unstoppable it seemed from mid-range.
