and equally important Paul McCartney has shown a loyality and affection to his hometown which I promise you hasn't gone unnoticed because unlike some people who leave Liverpool to greater things ..Paul has not run us down in the media! and that to me is one of the many things that make him a great man and human being.

I bought the "Wingspan"" cd's a few years ago and enjoyed that nostalgic visit into the '70s and early '80s and I feel gaining more insight into what really makes Paul McCartney tick...namely...I think his love for his family and dear wife shines through - Paul comes across to me as a devoted family man and loyal to the ones he loves and who love him.

I grew up listening to Wings and Paul McCartney and didn't really "get into" the Beatles stuff until I was 12 or 13. But my closest friend had an older sister who had the blue and red album and she also had Wings records. Then there was the James Bond Movie "Live and Let Die" which was on every Christmas and we always had to watch that. I actually live in Liverpool and was born here but my parents only listened to Jim Reeves in the '60's so they were a bit old-fashioned! lol

This inspired me to ask for "All The Best" from my parents when I was 10. And it was expensive on cassette. £7.99 in 1987, my mother nearly fainted! :)
