Love your products! My husband is a hobby dj. We are professionals in our early 30's and buying lighting for his "man cave",two adjoining rooms, 9x16 and 11x11. I'm worried if a laser is safe or appropriate. It would be on a 4 ft. high shelf in a high traffic area projected it onto a wall 11' away. We could hang it but the ceiling, 6'8", is really low. Planning to use a color rail in the larger room. What do you suggest? We want to get that club effect without blinding our friends. Thanks!!
@RoxaneNoblett I'd appreciate any of your suggestions! We are open to other products you carry as well! Want it to be a little more sophisticated and not too bright or busy. Also using some colored bulbs in the recessed lighting on a dimmer and remote control color changing led strips. Thank you so much for your help!
Any chance that a laser similar to the Scorpion LGX in price would be released in DMX anytime soon? I love the patterns of my two LGXs but would really like DMX control as well.
Same here, I would LOOOOVE this light.... except for the lack of DMX. It would really only need a few channels.... dimmer for the blue fog, maybe a channel each for the red and green segments, and besides that, maybe a strobe speed and rotation speed... I think DMX programmers could handle the rest from there ;)
@MrKleenDZX - I guess DMX is in demand! Thank you for the input. This laser can be operated in manual mode which can control the dimmer for the blue LED and adjust the red/green strobe. More info can be found in the product manual on our site. Hope that helps!
@timenater2 Thank you for your suggestion - we appreciate all input! If you're looking for a DMX laser, check out the Scorpion GVC, RGY or RVM lasers. They operate on 9 channels of DMX and color mixing capabilities creates cyan, yellow and magenta beams.
its just amazing how u got to slow down the laser to such a speed and create this effect. simply incredible. and yea, the lack of DMX kills me. also, theres no way to completely shut off one of the colors. it'll still flash every few seconds. that needs to be ironed out. but other than that, its very different and is a must to create an soothing atmosphere. this is great!

@Laz321 - Scorpion GVC, RGY or RVM are higher in price will provide more effects and DMX control. Check with your local dealer!

I agree with everyone here...cool light, but no DMX512 is a bummer. Adding that couldn't add much to the cost of the product.

Love the light hate the lack of dmx. Would work as a good plug and play light i suppose.
djhiswill 1 year ago
@djhiswill you could always use a DMX 4 if you wanted to trigger the Cirrus with DMX

that's true but that's an extra 100 bucks and extra set up, i use the dmx functions on my scorpion sky all the time

Looks like a really cool light but no DMX. Why not have DMX be an option on all lights?
