@takenxtx hey you need to find the right car for yourself then and transmission, clutch, anti roll bars, differential, a back wing and front and back tires but the back have to be a bit bigger than the front and not too big. and its best to use if you don't have wheel to drive with manual with clutch. and alot of practise at it you need to set the car right with gear ratios and it's slideabletiy

this is a cool achievement, but i feel that the points system is not the way new drifters should be looking. because you can get all the points in the world but be sloppy and unstylish. drifting should be all about having fun and challenging yourself. and points should be completely ignored...

@Mitsulevski It's not really a "drift mode". It just brings up the points you earn/earned. Also, drifting isn't ebraking only. It's mainly about balancing throttle and keeping the right angle and speed.
@GeorgeWashington2498 You can drift whenever you want. It's not like need for speed where there are drift races. Personally, I drift while racing when I get way ahead of the competition. You just need the right setup.

Guys help before I throw my fucking controller to the neighbors yard. Whenever I drift, I can't accelerate consistently through the turn without slowing down at the finish of my drift. This guy in the video just keeps slippin' away at the same speed without stopping. Any help?
@kzalldaz Sounds like you need a better tune. Shoot me a PM if ya want. Just tell me what car you're running, the class and what exactly happens when you try to initiate/hold a drift.

@kzalldaz hahaha I hear ya dude. But yeah, if I were you, I'd run with ABS on and everything else off. ABS keeps you from understeering like a bitch (from the tires locking up when braking really hard) which is exactly what you *don't* want. You want a controlled oversteer.

Well, Turn 10 didnt take their time, Polyphony digital is taking their time... Its going to be released later this month or early to mid next month. They've already pressed the discs..

Im stating facts... forza would be better if they took their time. I've owned Forza 3 and it sucked. forza 4 will not come close, HD-DVD's (what Xbox makes games on) cannot hold as much info as it takes to make GT5... People complain about how PS3 is harder to make a game for, its because game developers are usually too lazy to use the PS3 to its full potential.. Polyphony isnt, there will never be a game on the Xbox that will be nearly as good as GT5. Its just impossible with HD-DVD
@OUTLAWZPRODUCTIONZ its pointless to debate the two games, because they are exclusives, so for most people that don't own both consoles, they dont have a choice with what racing sim they should get. @crotte646464 turn in slightly too early, too hard, then stamp on the gas & quickly steer the other way.
Make sure you do it in inside view or you will not see what the car is doing
Once the car is sliding comfortably keep the front wheels pointed where you want to go

@kzalldaz hahaha I hear ya dude. But yeah, if I were you, I'd run with ABS on and everything else off. ABS keeps you from understeering like a bitch (from the tires locking up when braking really hard) which is exactly what you *don't* want. You want a controlled oversteer.

Well, Turn 10 didnt take their time, Polyphony digital is taking their time... Its going to be released later this month or early to mid next month. They've already pressed the discs..

Im stating facts... forza would be better if they took their time. I've owned Forza 3 and it sucked. forza 4 will not come close, HD-DVD's (what Xbox makes games on) cannot hold as much info as it takes to make GT5... People complain about how PS3 is harder to make a game for, its because game developers are usually too lazy to use the PS3 to its full potential.. Polyphony isnt, there will never be a game on the Xbox that will be nearly as good as GT5. Its just impossible with HD-DVD

@OUTLAWZPRODUCTIONZ its pointless to debate the two games, because they are exclusives, so for most people that don't own both consoles, they dont have a choice with what racing sim they should get. I'm sure GT5 will be good. I just think its lame that it has no online auction/trading system, and that they sold a $40 demo so that they could fund their ridiculously long development time.
