try the 8F you have. In real life the 8f was essentially a freight black five but it may be different in model terms.

it reminds me when do a speed test on my then new APT back in 85 i got the largest radius curves and laid it out in our kitchen which is 20ft long it was awsome didnt come off it was cleaned and back in the box it could dust i tell you,gfreat vid will all the best

Hi Will, i can't remember if you have a 9F or not but with 10 driving wheels and a motor in the loco rather than tender, that may have enough grunt to pull that length train unassisted.
