GOP senate leader McConnell epitomizes for me the real issue in the november election. His avowal to make Obama fail is an insult to every american citizen. Working to make a duly elected president fail is traitorous ... a failed president is synonymous with a failed nation. This is appalling behavior, an act of perfidy so vile that McConnell has done a great disservice to the US senate where he surely doesnt deserve to be. If voters put him back there in 2012, then shame on them!

In CA, cuts are already being made. A major med provider in CA has changed their full time nursing positions to per diem in their hospitals and clinics. No permanent shifts; NO BENEFITS; float to whatever hospital or clinic where they are short staffed, no guarantee of work; more use of traveling nurses. If you are in the hosp for one week, you could have 21 different nurses. Med providers have to make cuts and this is the type of cut you all are voting for!
