lol but help me out here lol, how can you tell the differences from a canadian accent and a american??? i really couln't tell you did a canaidan (even if that's your real accent).. ;(
i don't like how south park does it, well i used to watch it...
lol ray the fox sounds american.. Southern Californian.. well in my opinino yes. :)
i was raised in southern California all my life. :) grew up here since i was born. :) actually i was born in southern California. :)
and yes lots of americans from america have their own accents.. like new york, texas, alabama, minnisota..etc. and he does not sound like any of them. but reminds me of California.
Ha, I know. Our accents are so hard to tell apart. I can't tell very well myself XD. I think it's just really like a WEST coast, EAST coast, etc kind of accents going on. If you know what I mean. Thanks for commenting. :)
Yea, the everyday joe really can't tell much difference, if any. It's possible, but really hard. Americans and Canadians use some different words from one another as well.
Actually, I come from Washington State and I've been told by several people at college that I sound Canadian. I've never been to Canada and you are the first Canadian that I've heard. I would have thought that you were from my home state.
lol you sound like that actress from "Life with Darek" here name is Ashley Leggat. she's Canadian. She was born in canada and the show is from Canada, but somehow disney got a hold of it...
Hi there. Good response to Ray's video. You want to hear something funny?
I have lived in Canada almost all my life, yet Canadians and Americans all sound the same to me
LOL.
I bet if I went back to Scotland, even though to everyone else here I sound so Scottish when I put my accent on, to them back home they would probably think that I sound American. Accents are all a matter of perspective ...... I think...?
Had to visit you to hear you talk. Just listened to RayTheFox's video. You could pass for a California girl. There is just the tiny slightest hint of a "Canadian" sound to some of your words. Enjoyed this adventure in accents.
I don't stereotype people or their accents. I have traveled and encountered many wonderful accents. My mother was from Glasgow, Scotland and I was born in London, England and my father was Polish. I lost my lovely British accent when we came to the US dinosaur years ago. I really enjoy all the discussion and examples given here. Great videos thanks for sharing! ;)

That's the funny thing - because she IS Canadian. When people think of Canadian, they immediately resort to South Park's "oot and aboot" phrases.
I'm sure some people in Canada talk like that - but there are regional differences that aren't publicised very well.
