NO SIDE: Shinners, Ganley, McKenna, Socialists, Coir, Eirigi, UKIP, Le Pen, BNP.
YES SIDE: all international chambers of commerce, most independent economists, 3 main political parties, IFA, IBEC, SIPTU, ICTU, most major trade unions, Pfizer, Ryanair, Intel, Microsoft.
Yeah, that makes sense, in order to protect our rights we should allow unelected officials in another country to dictate our right while denying us a voice. Once they get that YES they'll stop asking us our opinion because legally they won't have to, look at the other countries who weren't protected by their constitution, they CAN'T vote! At the moment we can make our own laws and decide our own rights, how in hell will we be in a better position in terms of our rights by giving up our say?
What planet has Fine Gael been on for the last decade? Don't they know that the Irish voters in a general election are there to be won over by any moderate party who sticks by them, who represents them. So, apart from everything else, if Fine Gael sided with normal voters (by saying No to Lisbon and pushing for a better treaty) they almost certainly would be in power within a year.
Nicky McFadden is full of hot air. she's the most non-genuine olitican i've ever met. i know politicans bend the truth but ya seriously cant her rubbish seriously unless shes a total simpleton. licking up to everyone and a pure polished act is all she's good at!
If we accept this Treaty we will also be accepting the UN Charter of Fundamental right..... which will bring in Abortion. homosexual marriages etc...... which are totally against my Catholic beliefs. VOTE NO to protect our future generations!!!
Where are the jobs that we were promised for our yes Vote.
