Great that he's working on his dribbling. That alone should elevate him to an all-star, but a POST GAME? He's already an undersized 2. Unless they plan on moving him to the 1, who's he going to post-up? I guess with his big body he can emulate Craig Smith's post game.
@JaySee5 I am sure his "post game" will consist of a back to the basket type turnaround jumper and a few moves off the dribble. Any player of any size can have a post game. They just need the moves to perfect it and be successful.
@AndrewHeroJr Not true. EJ's an undersized 2, doesn't have long arms, and doesn't shoot over his head. A turn around jumper isn't going to have much success against a 6'6" 2 with long arms. A leaner with his big body to draw fouls and a good up and under would work better for him in the post.
@JaySee5 EJ has very long arms for a 6'3 guard. He has a 6'9 wingspan. As far as a turnaround jumper, he can shoot it he just needs to fade away and jump off his back foot. The leaner and the up and under are both great moves, and I have seen him use them before. I am sure he will work on slowing the game down while in the post and work on using his big body to get better positioning.
