I looped the opening bars from this song as background music for the public service announcements on our community radio station. I don't think anyone identified which song it was, but I thought it was appropriate.
I saw them at the WECC in Winnipeg. Until you see them live, you don't realize the full spectrum of sound they get from three guitars. It's truly exceptional.
My first exposure to Blackie was a Folk Festival benefit concert, where Stephen Fearing told of the pending collaboration, and performed "Lace and Pretty Flowers" solo
I had the privilege of seeing these guys at The Banff School of Fine Arts many years ago, beautiful sound, still one of the best shows I've ever seen.
