matthewmcewan the emperor can kill any demon. there hae been lesser humans who have killed/enslaved demon. read Eisenhorn and then post anothe comment
you pointed out that there could be chaos marines becauce of the noise marines that argument of their being chaos maring is not valid. thats all i wanted to point out. im not trying to offend but the video is pretty googd
i no u wanted to make the video badass but none of the primarchs were demons yet so its inacurATE AND AROUND 2:09 THEY were in a monestery/fortress and not attacking the enemy. other way around. annd also there are no noise marines in the game so your argument is invalid. there were no psykers in their retinue and they wore white armor not red. a good video but extreamly inacurate
Angron is represneted as a Daeomn Prince only because that was the best way to rperesent a primarch. The loyalists were at the top of the 'fortress' being attacked by the trators at the bottom, with tanks. I know there were noise marines, which of my arguments were invalid?
I also have the World Eaters in white armor. The Berserkers in this game have some automatic red on them, and as I wanted to show them as frotheing at the mouth madmen, that is the way it had to work.
lol chaos owns u all no1 can beat a demon.......ok im exagerating but a single warrior would have an extremely hard time i think the emperor could kill a lesser demon but not a greater demon
Mat are you serious? If you knew anything about the lore of 40k..you would know that the emperor was wounded severely before he defeated Horus. He is being kept alive by an extreme version of life support, kind of, and is now battling all of the chaos gods on a psychic plane. If he dies, all of humanity will die. I demon is easily killed, and are huge so there always attacked first.I know you dont play the tabletop game but those who do understand
There are daemons the size of my foot. (Nurglings). There are Daemons the size of me (Bloodletters, Daemonettes, Plaugebearers, Horrors). There are daemons bigger than me (the rest). Daemons fight wars in the material realm, and lose. They fight wars, and win. The Daemon Primarch of the World Eaters and 12 Bloodthristers were killed by Grey Knights.
My source? The fluff for the War of Armageddon and the Daemons Codex.
i was talking..of course..about the greater demon mat is talking about. Lesser demons, employed by chaos space marines, very powerful, but nothing compared to a greater demon. And the emperor could easily destroy any greater demon
the grey nights couldnt kill the world eaters primarch but they managed to banish him for a hundred years i hear dam them ! cant be super powerd by chaos without getting hassled by the cops!
The thing though is that no demon, no matter the variety, can be truly killed by mortals. They can be banished to the Warp for some time, but the only way they can ever really die is if their Patron God itself sucks them back into his conisousness.
I am guessing you haven't actually read the book Fulgrim then, as The Emperor's Children had actually taken the step to become Noise Marines by the time of the Dropsite Massacre. Anyway, it was useful to use Khorne Berserkers to represent the World Eaters as a) they were starting to become that anyway, b) it allowed the viewers to see who was good and bad, and c) A Daemon Prince makes a very good Traitor Primarch.
1. Thats wrong. There were always daemons, since even before the rise of Man, a daemon is mentioned in a HH book. The Daemon Prince represents Angron. While they weren't true Berserkers, they represent what Angron wanted them to become, and allowed them to beat the loyalist World Eaters in combat.
2. I thought it was the best map to represent this that I had found.
3. They wouldn't fall down until they were killed in game, otherwise, they would keep on fighting, which wouldn't work either.
he was a daemon in mind but perhaps not in body a bit like fulgrim before his mutation it says in the collected visions that angron is under daemonic possesion before istvaan took place and is the reason for his insane brutal berserker rage in battle and that of his legion now i doubt the whole legion where daemons so im guessing it was a mental state not bodily
All the traitor Primarchs became Daemon Princes (except Horus and the Night Lord's one, who snuffed it), but not until much later, after centuries in the Eye of Terror.
yeah they where basically making themselves the tools of the chaos gods during the HH and by the end of the siege of terra the gods had bestowed their gifts upon quite a few primarchs angron was a full daemon by the time the blood angels famed black rage charge pushed the heretics back away from the palace
Everyone loves bad music running over a game that isn't meant for cinematics! Seriously, these videos are proof that on Youtube people will rate anything highly. Try toning down your obsession with 40k and then look at these again.
IF aximand created the blood ravens 1 he would not be the 5th company capt also the heraldry and colours should they not have some referal to aximand or some heraldry to do with him more then likely they are from either the 2nd legion and their primarch or the 11th legion and their primarch
Cant be hes Little Horus, he wouldn't of had a part in making a loyalist chapter, he stayed on with horus and pretty sure got killed during the siege of terra
he is mentioned after the siege of terra but before the 41st millenium in a plot to clone the warmaster... shit my memory is going i have the book somewhere ill find it and quote it for you eventaully haha.
i supposse that's a better explanation, but one can always dream, and btw, i know he stayed with horus, but he felt regret, maybe he turned from chaos? I could' t find anything about him, except from the books
I am in complete agreement. The reason one he the librarians moved up to the other was to hopefully stop that and get them into close combat. But then they started shooting high again...
not likely .... the primarchs unlike the emperor can die of old age and the ones not killed in battle eventually did die many years ago ... the only ones that are still "alive" are the traitor primarchs that rose up to demi-god like status after the horas heresy
Actually thats wrong. GW never said they weren't found. And in The Lightning Towers there is a hint on what could have been happened to them. Dorn is in one scene sorry for the lost 2 primarchs and cant understand how horus can turn against the emperor and why he didnt learn anything from the fate of the 2 (for us) unknown primarchs.
The Marines befor the heresy were much better than the ones now befor their gene seed was all new now its a bit corrupted witch has come to the new chapters losing some of the abilities and are a bit smaller than befor the heresy with bad luck :p
Only some of the Geneseed was corrupted, remember. Chapters like the Red Scorpians (Imperial Armor, Vol. 4) take great pride in showing off how pure their Geneseed is.
what makes them any different than the ones today, other than having worse armor?
If you cannot move, while being crushed by tonns of rubble, with a freakin spaceship firing at you, when just before getting pummeled by one of the greatest fighters outside of the primarchs, how long would you survive?
well if garro can survive a plumet onto the moon with the lord of the flies ripping his ceremite armour off of his front and having sever burns from his skin being exposed and still kill the ord of the flies and walk back to the silnet sisters sanctuary i think loken just might live
In most of the legions there were those who stayed loyal to the Emperor. Horus sent the ones from his and other legions onto Istvan III and then virus-bombed the planet. He then massacred three other loyalist legions at Istvan V.
yeah dreadnaughts are wounded o fallen marines who still have life in them to go on fighting and are thus preserved in a dreadnaught. the first defiler was actually an attepmt at a new imperial vehicle but was found with its crew dead and a daemon bound to it, abbodon had these machines mass produced and each machine hs a daemon bound to it.
Dreads: Remember, this game is also meant to be played by people who don't normally play Warhammer 40k (which I assume you are, explanation later), so they didn't want Identical armies.
Terminators:Remember, this game is also meant to be played by people who don't normally play Warhammer 40k (which I assume you are, explanation later), so they didn't want Identical armies.
Grey Knights: The sole job of the Grey Knights is to hunt down Daemons and Chaos Space Marines. Do you now see why they don't include Grey Knights in the Chaos Space Marine army?
No, the Legion of the Damned was part of the 21st Founding. The two missing Legions are there because Games Workshop wants people to make up their own Legions. They have no plans Whatsoever to release any info about those two Legions.
They wouldn't be able to put the emperor on a Dreadnought because if they take him of his throne his soul will reunite with his body and many people are afraid what will happen if his soul reunites with his body and he would go crazy because is souls was outside of his body for soul long and start klling people. plus if they put him on a dreadnought he would proably lose alot of his powers in the process. But the inquistion wont let anybody take his body off the throne
wow, to tell you the truth i just read every comment, but i didn't understand half of it, so it leads me to this question... who at the end of the Horus Heresy are the traitors and the loyalists?
Traitors: Sons of Horus (Black Legion), World Eaters, Emperor's Children, Thousand Sons, Death Guard, Night Lords, Alpha Legion, Iron Warriors, Word Bearers.
Loyalists: Ultramarines, Salamanders, Raven Guard, Blood Angels, Iron Hands, White Scars, Imperial Fists, Dark Angels, Space Wolves
The Red Corsairs were not part of the Horus Heresy. They were much later during the Badab Wars. Tehre were 9 Loyal and 9 Traitor Legions during the Heresy.
two primarchs were apparently never found. the legion of the damned was just a chapter trapped in the warp for a while. they are loyal but act weird. they show up win the battle and leave.
First, they release toxins on the planet that will literally annialate any organic matter it can find, until all it is is a big mush, this includes Space Marines. One crack in the armor is all it takes. Then, with all the flammable gases created because of the virus, a lance strike is sent from orbit, lighting the entire world on fire.
No, I didn't. Read the actual book this movie is based off of.
Sons of Horus, Death Guard, World Eaters, and Emperor's children go traitor, and send units to the surface of their own legions that would not have gone traitor. After they realized they've been betrayed, the Sons of Horus go back to being Luna Wolves, and the loyalists fight the traitors, until they are all wiped out.
It's alright, but i find DOW makes for choppy videos, and chaos units always have oddly proportioned heads on the game... The Daemon Prince's head looks like a walnut on an elephant, same with the defilers...
You ought to try and remove the HUD completely, though im not sure how... Good work anyway though
I loved the HH books I've read so far, it would definitely make for a great movie.
But Abbadon was in a suit of Terminator armor wasn't he? I know that in DoW no termie would beat a captain, but it would've been cool to see regardless.
When this happened, the Imperial Fists were on Terra. This was on Istvann III. The loyalist forces of the Luna Wolves, Emepror's Children, Death Guard, and Imperial Army were sent down to the surface to be virus bombed by the traitors. At the end, it worked.
hey is it true that after the death guard turned to chaos and got the plagues there still is some of the last remaining death guard that still are good and not chaos
In reference to Angron near the beginning... I thought that the traitor primarchs didn't become daemon princes untill after the heresy. I may be wrong though. Am only using what I have been able to gather from wikipedia. Good vid btw =D

oh and a tip, turn 3d camera on (means you can get really close to the troops and get some good shots).
and also do it in a replay form and hold down ctrl, shift and @ at the same time and a screen will come down.
to remove the HUD type in "taskbar_hide"
and the cursor "cursor_hide"
and to reverse it you need to do the same but with "show" instead of "hide".
it'd increase the awesomeness of your vids dude :)

who was the fifth captain of the sons of horus, forgot that part, Aximand
Axnor11 3 years ago
i have a theory, i think that aximand may be the founder of the blood raven chapter, here's why:
1.DoW Dark Crusade chaos(player) vs. space marines epilogue
2. It says on the lexicanum, i tink, that the fifth company of the blood ravens is especially mysterious, and who was the fifth captain
3. Aximand felt regret when he killed torgadon, so maybe he abandoned horus( well, Abaddon, actually) after or maybe even before the heresy

The chaos have Defilers which are crazed space marines but are chained up instead of just sleeping and will kill on site (in REAL 40k)
PieMan1018 3 years ago
Lie.
Dreadnoughts are crazed SM's.
Defilers were created by Abbadon the Despoiler that have part of a Daemon bounded to it.
FifthWindLegion 3 years ago
Dreadnauts are mortally wounded space marines and Defilers are still crazed chaos space marines.
PieMan1018 3 years ago
I meant CSM
PieMan1018 3 years ago
No, they aren't. Actually read their entry in the CSM Codex, and you will see how wrong you are.
FifthWindLegion 3 years ago
I was told from a friend who is in to chaos (I play Eldar)
PieMan1018 3 years ago
I'm telling you as another guy who plays Chaos. If you don't believe me, look at your friend's Codex.

How else do you think I should have represented a Primarch, who was bigger, stronger, and better in any way to a normal Marine?
FifthWindLegion 3 years ago
no but he was close to becoming one he already heard the whispers of chaos

No, the Legion of the Damned was part of the 21st Founding. The two missing Legions are there because Games Workshop wants people to make up their own Legions. They have no plans Whatsoever to release any info about those two Legions.
hjorturmh 3 years ago

For the EMPEROR!!!
Yes i am new to the W40K universe.
Iwillaimaturhead 3 years ago
Traitors: Sons of Horus (Black Legion), World Eaters, Emperor's Children, Thousand Sons, Death Guard, Night Lords, Alpha Legion, Iron Warriors, Word Bearers.
Loyalists: Ultramarines, Salamanders, Raven Guard, Blood Angels, Iron Hands, White Scars, Imperial Fists, Dark Angels, Space Wolves
FifthWindLegion 3 years ago
Missed Red corsairs for traitors. :)
Nice vid anyway.
eldrad9999 3 years ago
The Red Corsairs were not part of the Horus Heresy. They were much later during the Badab Wars. Tehre were 9 Loyal and 9 Traitor Legions during the Heresy.
FifthWindLegion 3 years ago
Strange... weren't 20 Legions established during the first founding? What about 2 other Legions?
supajasiu 3 years ago
one was legion of the damned i believe the other one remains a mystery

no te legion of the dammned turned up later after being suked into the warp
lifestinkslikepoo 3 years ago
two primarchs were apparently never found. the legion of the damned was just a chapter trapped in the warp for a while. they are loyal but act weird. they show up win the battle and leave.

what is a virus bomb?
polkjhgfdsaqw 3 years ago
First, they release toxins on the planet that will literally annialate any organic matter it can find, until all it is is a big mush, this includes Space Marines. One crack in the armor is all it takes. Then, with all the flammable gases created because of the virus, a lance strike is sent from orbit, lighting the entire world on fire.
Very happy thought, I know.

thnx i know its a very happy thought

UndergroundRebelArmy 3 years ago
Before they were the Sons of Horus, yes.
FifthWindLegion 3 years ago
u got loads of the legions mixed up
Ellis307 3 years ago
No, I didn't. Read the actual book this movie is based off of.
Sons of Horus, Death Guard, World Eaters, and Emperor's children go traitor, and send units to the surface of their own legions that would not have gone traitor. After they realized they've been betrayed, the Sons of Horus go back to being Luna Wolves, and the loyalists fight the traitors, until they are all wiped out.
FifthWindLegion 3 years ago
u fucked up at 1.44 thisis a great vid but u said that the traitor legions where fighting the other traitors
starscreamstrooper 3 years ago
what? lol
boxxermann 3 years ago
nope those are the loyalist elements holding out against the traitor forces.
iammjolnir 3 years ago
tbh i think it smells more like toast
lifestinkslikepoo 3 years ago
Nice, I like it.
The music was a good choice.
I have to say only that last scene had enough Marines, the others where a bit small I think.
christheevilone 3 years ago
It's alright, but i find DOW makes for choppy videos, and chaos units always have oddly proportioned heads on the game... The Daemon Prince's head looks like a walnut on an elephant, same with the defilers...
You ought to try and remove the HUD completely, though im not sure how... Good work anyway though
that0guy0over0there 3 years ago
Great Vid but Saul Tarvitz was a loyalist Emporer's Children. Your probably thinking of Loken.
HazeWarhammer40k 3 years ago
Yes, I was.
FifthWindLegion 3 years ago
I loved the HH books I've read so far, it would definitely make for a great movie.
But Abbadon was in a suit of Terminator armor wasn't he? I know that in DoW no termie would beat a captain, but it would've been cool to see regardless.

The combined might of the emporers children, the luna Wolves and the WORLD EATERS?

is the pre-chaos alpha legion included?
ZelganasAshHeart 3 years ago

That is very true, all fighting aids Khorne, all excess aids Slannesh, any hope and change aids Tzeentch, and any disease aids Nurgle.
FifthWindLegion 3 years ago
The Loyalist focres resisting Horus were true heroes worhty of the Emperor.
The fought their own brothers in His name. What a shame the Emperor's children betrayed Him. I liked them.
fisyr 3 years ago 2
acctualy you should of used the imperial fists for the SM because the imperial fists where the ones that deffended when the horus heresey started
thegold23 3 years ago
Read the book...
When this happened, the Imperial Fists were on Terra. This was on Istvann III. The loyalist forces of the Luna Wolves, Emepror's Children, Death Guard, and Imperial Army were sent down to the surface to be virus bombed by the traitors. At the end, it worked.
FifthWindLegion 3 years ago
hey is it true that after the death guard turned to chaos and got the plagues there still is some of the last remaining death guard that still are good and not chaos
Sindwen 3 years ago
I wish they would make a movie based on the horus heresy... Istvaan would be as sad as order 66 was in star wars. =D

In reference to Angron near the beginning... I thought that the traitor primarchs didn't become daemon princes untill after the heresy. I may be wrong though. Am only using what I have been able to gather from wikipedia. Good vid btw =D
