  • whats all of your set up in this tank?

  • Is your "black" eel a conger eel?

  • @bioteach he was called a snowflake eel in the store, but the scientific name is Gymnothorax tile

  • @earthling1984

Thanks for the feed back. In this area those are called freshwater morays, but as you have learned they do great in salt water.

  • Man, those are some cool pet's, It's unfortunate that they have to put up with those living conditions..

  • i dont want to sound rood coz i know u take great care in your pets but that puffer looks kinda bad i dont think there ment to be a grey or black on there stomack

  • @AwesomeAssassin1000 oh gosh i hope you don't breed

  • you could've tried a bit harder than that surely?

  • Does your trigger ever nip at the coral or be distructive? I really want one but, they arent reefsafe. Please respond

  • @EvOmidget147 I wouldn't recommend one in a reef tank. mine was ok while I had him, but if you have lots of corals it isn't worth the risk.

  • @earthling1984 You sold him?

  • scrub down the tank man its a pretty dirty along sides/ back but otherwise nice tank

  • pretty sick tank man!

i have one of those magnets too! they work so well, they must be perfect for those salt stains!

  • How many gallons is that tank?

  • @TrueConservative123 This one is 55

  • how many weeks before u have to clean the tank?

  • @TheDeathsMessenger i don' thave to clean it very often at all, but it depends how many fish, what types of fish, etc that will determin how often you need to 'clean' it.

  • you sound like Dexter :D

    cool tank!

  • any benefits over feeding raw shrimp?

  • @simn22 both should be fine.

  • is that shrimp cooked?

  • @simn22 it is cocktail shrimp, and yes, I think they are pre-cooked, but it was just taken from the freezer into the tank, I didn't heat it.

  • Im thinking of getting a saltwater tank, I've had freshwater ones only, what do you have to do differently for a saltwater tank? Thanks. P.s. Nice vid

  • I have a question do u need a bio additive to start cycling ur tank

  • @boehmeiboy nope.

  • Csn i put hermit crab anf other invertebrates in the frashwater tank

  • @paulilicious94 There may be freshwater hermit crabs, but honestly I haven't ever seen one. Most hermit crabs need saltwater, or you can get the ones that live on land, but they still need some saltwater to go into. There are some other freshwater crabs and crawfish you can put in there. If they are too large though, they may eat the fish or other inverts.

  • @paulilicious94 yes there are freshwater hermit crabs i have one

  • You positive? Think i may have seen other vids with reefs in freshwater :/

  • @paulilicious94 im positive

  • But i was planning on sticking to freshwater when putting the coral and reefs in?

  • @paulilicious94 corals and reefs can only live in saltwater.

  • Thanks mate.. When im adding my corals and reefs can i leave my freshwater fish in?

  • @paulilicious94 umm... I think you need to research a little bit more about saltwater tanks. Your freshwater fish should be not be in a saltwater tank(they won't live more than 5minutes in a saltwater tank) and your saltwater tank should be setup and cycled first. I don't want you to waste money, so please research 'how to setup a saltwater tank' on youtube and / or google!

  • Yeah one in dublin mate meant to be very good, kinda confused though, dont know what coral or reef to get, the fise store actually dont know shit. Can y gandle hermit krabs?

  • @paulilicious94 Large one like I have... I wouldn't pick him up, probably pinch me good ;p As for corals, make sure you have really good lighting! They will just die without proper lighting(lose you much money). But as long as you got the proper lighting, pick the ones you think are 'pretty' :)

  • Oh cool :-) would you recommend ordeeing online? I live in ireland btw

  • @paulilicious94 if there is an irland or more local online shop you can order from... they need to be shipped overnight, so of course you can't order from where I ordered from (in the USA) but I would assume there are shops online around you too :)

  • Hello again mate, how do ya take care of the live rock/ plants?..

  • @paulilicious94 you don't really have to do anything for either of them. The live rock isn't really 'live' when you buy it. Bacteria grows on it, which is why it is called live rock. You don't have to do anything, it is just in the tank. Plants you just need good lighting so they have enough light, and that is it :)

  • i thought the green spotted puffers were freshwater. maybe thats why they kept dying???i got them at walmart

  • That Picasso is a bueaty. Im currently converting my tank to marine and going with some Odonus Niger Triggers. It seems you have had no trouble with a Trigger with the Morays? Thanks for the vid.

  • yea the trigger and the eels get along just fine, never have they messed with eachother, they seem to know not to mess with eachother.

  • hoomo picasso trigger fish looks and acts like Dora-- the Puffer doesnt look like a predator-- fish act like RC planes! the eel wouldnt think a bout trying to take down the spotted puffer? hes same size as a crawfish

  • great vid .love the first fish u showed. i have a freshwater tank. i use to have a tire track eel and some redtail sharks and a banboo shrimp

    .

  • Wow! You helped me with my R/C heli woes and you can give advice about aquariums. I left a response to the lizards eating the pink mice on this with my aquarium and was not sure if you were into the water pets..... You are!!!! Cool!!! I am gald I susbribed because you are a wealth of knowlodge!!!!!

  • Thanks for subbing and the nice comment :)

  • Awesome man! I've only got my oscar right now, but I've kept a few different fish.

  • Nice looked like the eel was getting mad at the puffer or wanted to eat him...lol...I see you have the fluval as well AWESOME filter huh? I keep mines on the top flow

  • Awsome fish man, i didnt know that a green spotted puffer lived in salt water ?? Lol

Is this a fluval tank??coz iv just bought a fluval 180 (bowed front) for christmas, and im gunna put some malawii cichlids in it.. cant wait to set it up LOL

    5*****

  • @cobrabeats9000 - GSP's need freshwater when young(under 3/4th"). Then they need brackish when 'middle-aged. And then saltwater when adults. Most people buy them small as freshwater fish, then they die within a few months because they need some salt.

  • ahhhh i see ok, I didnt actualy know that lol. so in the wild, do they live in fresh water for part of their lives, then swim to salt water? well thanks for letting me know :)

  • The eels are so cool looking! So is the puffer fish. Greatt looking tank! One day I will have a big fish tank when I'm not too lazy to clean it. lol

  • lol @ Rachel

  • Looks like it's going to be a very long move

  • lol, it won't be easy :) But it shouldn't be too hard. I completely tore down and packed up a whole halloween store(with 3 people). Did it all in 2 days. House shouldn't be nearly as hard as that :) Only thing is the fishtanks. I will probably setup new tanks in the new house, convert the fish over, then move the old empty tanks, set them up, and get new fish :)

  • Cool tank - what does the spotted puffer fish eat?

  • Everyone in the tank eats the same stuff. I feed them cocktail shrimp, frozen silverside fish, krill, and live crabs/crawfish.

  • hey where do you get your silverside fish?

do petsmart sell it? and how big is your tank? your good is looking good :)

  • ha madness, well anyway keep the videos coming

  • bloody hell the video is amazing quality
