@diakrite Actually...the erhu's quite soft...i think they use internal mics. then again, the violin prob has an internal mic too XD erhu <3 the sound of an erhu is always more mellow and warm..and with more feeling(?) than the violin, imo

People, the girl in the middle is playing viola, not violin.

A viola is also 4 string, only with lower tunes (A, D, G, C). A violin has an E-, an A-, a D- & a G-string.

So it's viola vs ehru (the Chinese 'violin' ).

Oh, and it's based on a concerto from Beethoven, but I'm not sure about the number.
