Mike hold out for the Athearn SD70m-2 it will be much nicer and more prototypical to CN. They are in the process of doing the SD70ace at the moment but the m-2's will be along shortly! I have seen them and the MTH doesn't even compare!

they are just announced, not realeased, it probably says like preorder somewhere, it should at least. but i know for sure they arent out yet since i talked to the guys who work for Athearn and they said they wont be out until about september if everything goes right

damn i hate exams. Nice mohawk. Dude the mth sd70m-2s are nice I got two of the NS and one csx sd70ace from them, They are a pain to program but awesome otherwise. Atheanrs coming out with them if you want to wait for them. The layout is lookin nice!

Thanks. Yeah they are nice, but I think im gonna go with the new atlas CN GP40-2LW's that are comming out.. It will look better with my WC geeps lol.

I didn't realize that exams were on the same week all across North America, you're the fourth person who wrote exams, buy a CN engine but you should buy ALCo's

Cool, mine are C424's, C630M's have a similar cab but are much longer. Then there are the smaller RS-18's. These were built by MLW (Montreal [Quebec] Locomotive Works), an ALCo subsidary so MLW was famous for making uniquily Canadian engines. CN and CP were their main customers. Don't even bother trying to find RS-18's. There may still be a few C424's kicking around as they were last released 3 years ago. I understand that some new CN C630M's are being released in the summer.
