Having banks open from 8-6 like they are in OTHER CIVILIZED countries might help allieviate some of the ridiculously long waiting times in banks and other public institutions. What sort of business closes in the middle of the afternoon and remains closed all weekend too? Also, have you people NEVER heard of a drive-up teller? Many problems in Greece could be solved with good ol' fashioned common sense...but then again, its just easier to maintain the status quo and keep living in the dark ages.
