arnold finished college unlike the other teen age stars in his time. The last time i saw him on TV he works in a hotel I think as a banquet manager or what I'm not sure na. The hotel used to be Covelandia which i think they renamed The COVE!! I am not sure now if arnold is still there. I remeber arnold had another karibal in showbiz during his time. That boy also sings and if I remeber it right his name is joselito. this guys is i think as young as him!!
I'm a young girl at that time, and I tried to copy Arnold . I had the same hair, worn similar shirts, and tried so hard to smile like his. I was one of the craziest fun of the nicest guy in the 70's. Now, I will be a grandma in a few years, and ARNOLD GAMBOA still embedded in my memories. Thanks to baduymusic. Could you post more? salamat.
Oh wow! First was the video..and now this! Nostalgia talaga! And the music of the 70"s was really one of the best: the lyrics were very meaningful & the melody was very pleasant to the music. I guess that's one of the reasons why there are so many revival music. To the one who posted this, maraming salamat...listening to this brought back so many good memories and also...how about changing your "code name"?
OMG!I was reminiscing the good old days back in the Philippines with the help of YouTube when I stumbled into this pleasant surprise! I remember skipping school just to see him in the studio.I actually named my son after him. It made me sad when I heard that he doesn't want to go back to showbiz anymore.He made a lot of people happy during that time.He made me happy then & when I heard this song,he still made me happy.Thank you Arnold wherever you are.Thanks to the one who posted this song.
Show business does not pay well before compared to these days that is why he made a hard decision to finish school first and earn a degree. It is nice to read that alot of people still remember and kept his career somewhat alive in good memories.
I am glad that you kept Arnold's career somewhat alive still by remembering. Showbiz doesn't pay that much before compared to these days. That is why he decided to earn a degree first. I am happy to read that you named your son after him.
