  • why was he comin in so fast? hope thay were all ok

  • THATS WELL BAD

  • I don't know if you noticed but the gunner on the near side acculy tried to climb out of his little window space hopefully there all ok.

  • Talk about undershooting.

  • Terrible landing! I wonder if it was a student pilot? Landed way to hard and not even close to the mark.

  • i feel really sad now.. imaging being on that copter with water flowing in and the suction drags the copter to the bottom while its caos inside it... with the pressure under the water while they sink and not to mention the dagames of the crash that makes some of the ppl impossible to sruvive.. imagine knowing ur so badly hurt so u gonna die a painful death.. slowly.. . RIP

  • çok üzücü ama mal acelesi ne biradaha yavaş gelse öyle olmazdi

  • Left rear landing gear got hung up on the railing as he was trying to manuever the heli.

  • JUST AFEW FLIGHTS EXPERIENCE HOURS..

  • coming in way to fast and way to low. little bit cocky flying, unless there was someone dying on board.

  • I did not know that you knew the crew

  • roflcopter

  • Rofl. xD

    MfG EaD

  • geez hope every 1 survived ....maybe they should think about lowering the deck fences when a chopper is coming in to land(small electric motors in each fence panel!!!) ...then such a mishap might never happen...at least not like this...scarey

  • funkypete you're a shit head! You must be a democrap!

  • And we gives our lives to protect people like you? Yeah stfu.

  • Not a nice thing to see at all when you work with helicopters like i do. May those who perished rest in peace.

  • oh man, those poor guys

  • too low flying,,a helicopter should not fly too low on deck,,it must be little higher and top to center deck parking,,a pilot need to learn more practice,,

  • I don't see you fighting for the United States of America... Those men and women put their lives on the line everyday for us so we can have freedom...

  • It wasnt pilots screwup. There was nothing he could have done when the wheel got stuck in fence

  • say, how long ago did this happen?

  • dont know, tell me when you find out.

  • o crap!

  • There were 18 onboard and 7 or 8 survivors (something around there.) A couple of the people who didn't drown died later from ingesting hydraulic fluid/jet fuel. We saw a really terrible (as in hard to watch) video of one of the survivors who broke his back in the accident describing it to a bunch of other Marines, it was pretty harsh...the folks in back were wearing life preservers UNDER their body armor, it was just a bad day all around.

  • his wheel got stuck on that stupid wire net shit

  • that guy in the window shouldve jumped out, they were so close to being safe, poor lads

  • Only three people made it out.

  • What happens here is called "dynamic rollover" - people died here..

  • dynamic rollover doesnt involve a rear wheel getting caught up in the mesh guarding, i thought same but is not the case

  • The wheel getting caught up is the what leads to the DR as the pilot increases the engine power.

If the had shut down the engine the copter would just have landed fine with one wheel on the outside.

  • thats a good point, i feel like a dick now but nevertheless i think this was unavoidable DR or not

  • water and copters dont mix the first thing they do is flip over then sink

  • dang!, they definitly need something else other than those nets

  • WHOA!!! that is some crazy stuff! i wonder if they made it outa there eh?

  • Wow, after seeing that I don' think they should put side rails on Aircraft Carriers

  • crap
