  • There's actually no dinosaur in this video, Mosasaurs and Amonites are not dinosaurs although they were contemporaries.

    Aside from that, AMAZING animation!

  • These are the best dinosaur animation I've ever seen!

I remember I saw it when I was a child, it's preatty realistic even for the old animation style which remind me the pink floid's animation in the wall!

  • I don't think this sea creature is technically a dinosaur...

  • I remember watching this as a kid and thinking "What the heck is that thing eating the ammonites?!" From then on, I'm a mosasaur fan.

  • but... theres no dinosaurs. Where's hesperornis, y'all?

  • 00:29

    oh man, i've been there!

  • I remember this- this was on a computer program I had called Dinosaurs!

  • Who's the animator? The style reminds me of Fantastic Planet

  • lol at 0:26 - 0:35.that one just felt something and responded by moving away form the reptile, wile the other didn't respond and ended up a failure.

  • That my friend is natural selection ;)

  • I figured that purple, segmented structure in the background of the video was the "stalk" of a crinoid, but now that I look at it again, I think you're right.

  • It shows a Mosasaur eating an Ammonite with crinoids in the background. Very cool! I remember this video from school! Now, I'm a paleontologist! The power of animation. :)

  • wow you are!? i remember when i wanted to be one,but i changed my mind after a couple of years, decided to do animation lol! ^^

  • there are no crinoids in that video...there are only a ammonite, the shell of a tall spiral ammonite, a Mosasaur, and a coelacanth that swims through...no crinoids

  • a lieplurodon woulldent feed on jellyfish

  • it's not a liplorodon it's a mososaur and there not jellyfish there anomites

  • megalodon vs guppy who wins?

  • Was that a celocanth at 11?

  • Looked like it. They were still puttering around in the Cretaceous.

  • You know, its still amazing that their still alive to this day in a small area

  • i aint think so me thinking a small leedictheys or somethin

  • lol. the shells resemble the pokemon omanyte and omastar!

  • duh, that's what they're based on :P

  • If your bringing pokemon into this, your a

    nerd

  • Sweet.

  • Did you do that? Thanks for posting.

  • It's from a 1992 documentary on dinosaurs. I remember seeing it when I was a tot, then watching the recording many times over the next ten years. Still awesome.

  • what was this documentary called?

  • "The Dinosaurs" I taped it on PBS when I first saw it. Barbara Feldon (Agent 99) was the narrator.

  • Geffoery Burchfield was the narrator of the Australian version. I have a tape with three of the Australian verion series. I don,t have the last one though.
