Wow, how have I not heard anything about this guy? He has balance and power that reminds me of Walter Payton, except he's bigger and maybe faster. It boggles my mind how gems like this can slide under the radar. Congratulations to the Colts, I'm sure he could start now. Wish the Browns would have picked him up though.
He and Nevis are are favorite picks for the Colts this year. I don't expect a breakout year this but he will help the team alot in short yardage situations. I think he'll have a break out year next season.
He's much more of an inside slam-bang kind of runner than we're(colts) used to having, and brings what I think is a much-needed skill set that we've been lacking. Carter has good lateral mobility and balance, and he's tough between the tackles with the wiggle to find seams. His vision and instincts are questionable, though, and he does not have good hands out of the backfield.... he doesnt fumble !
@33pbear Carter rushed for 1,233 yards, and 9 TD's his senior year. His career at Syracuse he had 3,104 with 24 TD's. He would have a ton more but he got hurt his second season and only had 137 yards that year with 0 TD's...
Su really missed him last year he and Bailey had a great 1 2 punch with delone as the bowling ball and antwan as the speedster
