Haven't seen this in years, the CGI is a little raw but the show holds up quite well. I always liked the design of the capital ships in this show, but they were only ever on screen for a few seconds.

@Bazookatone1 The CGI is very good for the time, it doesn't bother me, but it's a strange contrast when the quality of the animation can be brilliant in one scene, and then terrible the next. It's quite distracting. It goes from life-like to robotic in the space of a few frames, then back again. I'd really like to see this series remade, or a proper sequel to the original movie. Imagine what they could with modern special effects and a Hollywood budget. It would be better than "Transformers 7".

ST portrays all the deplorable aspects of all military, wether its from the allies, the nazis, etc etc, it takes a little bit of everything to make this cartoon military, check out warhammer 40k imperial guard that also does this

Fact is the Space is a vakuum. And there can't be noice in an Vakuum. On Earth sound travels to your ears by vibrating air molecules. In deep space, the large empty areas between stars and planets, there are no molecules to vibrate. There is no sound there.

I'd say Roughnecks were waay before first HALO and its sequel. I like their power armors (both walkers adn grizzly command suit), but I also like normal MI's armor (much better than cap troopers).It does reminds me a bit on book.

Little too clean for my tastes. Realistically, whats going to happen when you slam a supersonic metal slug into a creature with a hard(brittle) chitinous exoskeleton and a presumably open circulatory system? The shell will shatter, dumping blood and giblets from the round tumbling around inside the creature's soft insides. Or at least I HOPE that would happen, and theyre not being sent in with rounds designed for stopping power and not penetration against beasts that armored like tanks

Nah, I don't think they borrowed to much from the book, the book was mostly about military life and was really big on power armor which doesn't appear in aliens or any other starship troopers. The book and the movies/show don't have much to do with each other, I mean in the book the bugs had guns and spaceships and they looked like spiders.

Have you even read the orginal Starship Troopers book? Dizzy was a guy in the book, Carl wasn't put with Rico. They didn't have any thing that was called a Marauder. And When Rico did fall into the hole, in the book, he wasn't attacked because there were different types of bugs, and the ones that were around Rico were the worker type that let him be.
